I need your suggestions on prepairing my Pashtu subject for optionals. Plz

Respected crown prince, i did scored 74/100 in B.A, but m not saticified with that score as far as such level of examz are concerned, the CSS i mean all i did was just read out a single book. Now if n could tell me

is pashtu a scoring sub?

how many books shuld I go through?

how much time should i give it 2?

and what else could fit in with pashtu to fufil the optional slot as far as i m concerned i did went for Muslim Law and Jurispondance, what were yours?

Moreover, as you scored well in B.A, certainly you will fetch good marks in CSS as well. Prepare some personalities like Khushal Khan Khattak, Rahman Baba, Hamza Baba, Syed Rasool Rasa, Ghani Khan etc. For MCQs consult book "Pohan'na" - at the end of the book you will find MCQs there.

You can attempt two questions from the paper about translation - that is unseen paragraph from English to Pushto and Pushto to English, Idioms and Proverbs from English to Pushto and vice versa.

As you have proved your ability in B.A exam and you must have grip over this subject then you must go for Pushto. Reading some personalities, Idioms, Proverbs and translation skill do not require extra ordinary time. Yon can easily master these limited things.

Best recommended book for Pushto is 'Pohan'na' and a good attempted paper can easily fetch 70+ marks. Last year I secured 58 marks, probably it was low scoring that year. Moreover, I can't crame stanzas and probably that was the reason to score low in 2009 for me.

Pushto is completely different subject from others. I don't think there would be any criteria to fit subject with others except in case of Political Science with Const Law and Pak Affairs with Indo-Pak. Selection of subjects depend on your aptitude and understanding. My optionals were Pol Sc, Indo-Pak, Const. Law and Pushto.
