Unhappy new to sociology plz help.. :(
seniors em v confused regarding the selections ov book...i already hv a book ov sociology by C.N shankar rao...bt everyone is suggesting me hameed taga ..the othr point is c.n shankar's book consists ov india problems not pakistan.what shud i do?may i strt reading shankar's book or buying hameed taga wud b gud?plz reply quickly

@Amby Khan , shankar rao contains indian society examples whereas Taga book is particularly based on Pakistan perspective .. You must go for both as you know sociology paper is analytical one so in order to make your concepts clear do consult both books ..Make your own notes in the form of points so that your confusion can be avoided .

As said above,book by Taga contains information from the Pakistani Society but just a little piece of advise if you ask me.I attempted the subject but instead of going for TAGA i went with two books

Sociology by Iqbal Chaudary
Pakistani Society by Iqbal Chaudary

uses
1.all aspirants go through TAGA so examiner HAS to have something new
2. better and pint wise descriptions of problems of Pakistani society

(1) Sociology----- Abdullah Khurram Niazi
(2) Sociology ----- Horton and Hunt
(3) Social Problems of Pakistan--- Dr Mohammad Khalid
