the paper is simple,i cant believe that more than 80% students were failed in 2010 exam,so i think the problem is with fpsc,the main problem is with examiners,they just want to impose their own point of view they dont care about justifications.
islamiat is a very vast subject.every problem has many solutions,and the solutions has two faces either in favour or against,as an examiner one should accept both according to the justifications provided,but thats not going to happen,because the they think they are the only muslims sitting there and rejecting any statement which goes against their own pint of view.
so just pray that our luck works and we write material which suits the examiner whether it is write or wrong.

Dear the matter of fact is that the medium in which you can express yourself the best is the best.If you feel comfortable in English then write in English ortherwise in Urdu.
Now the reason for which I prefer Urdu is that It is harder to write AYAH in English as there are many chances of mistakes while encoding.And there are many typical terminologies used in the subject which students don't know as they don't pay heed to the subject and rely on translation of their Urdu views into English.
One thing more if you are out of practice in writing Urdu then write in English.

Bro the time has changed and the paper checker for Urdu and English are not different. paper checkers are highly educated persons who are not only proficient at Urdu but English as well. Papers koi mdrsa main check honay nai jatay.
and if you talk about the moderate views then it should be clear that English hasn't anything to do with it. Dr. Israr Ahmad(late) and Javed Ahmed Ghamidi couldn't sit together for 10mins. I think you know the caliber of the two.And one thing more Iss forum pe bohat se log English bol bhi skte hain likh bhi sakte hain aur smajh bhi skte hain if you read through their posts u will come to know the reality that how moderate they are...

Saray wohi haj namaz yaad kr k phrte hain. 2 saal main examiner ne googly krai to saray bowled ho gae hain.Ayat yaad hain to unhe hr jgah ghair zroori fit na kro.

its common practice to fit rati rattai ayats everywhere thats why islamiat proved a fatal from last 2 years. The main theme behind this paper is to analyze our recent scenario from Islamic point of view, to collaborate our recent practices and issues with Islamic teachings. This paper demands more rational approach instead of ratta of Namaz, roza, hajj and zakat.

Try to visit reference section of any Library and find islamic studies research journals and magazines, go through these journals and collect important research articles. Through these research articles you'l get material on recent issues of Muslim world and rational discussion on various islamic topics inspite of conventional approach.Keep in mind that current pattern of islamic studies cant be covered through 1 or 2 books but though different sources like newspaper, youtube lectures, Islamic discussion programs, articles and much more....
