Thanks, but no question can award more than 10 as mentioned by you for Q5. In fact, i am confused regarding Q4, Q5, Q7 whereas i am certain about Q2 and Q9. Q2 has two parts each awarding 5 marks and in Q9, we had to write notes on 5 topic each awarding 2 marks. I attempted these questions.

one has to attempt 5 questions in EDS paper. each carrying 10 marks.
its 50 mcqs and 50 marks for 5 questions. so it is 50% objective and 50% subjective.
