urbanization as a process was a simple question.

define urbanization. then state it is of course a process since it has some causes and the causes produce effects which can be both positive and negative.

i mentioned the causes.
then the effects. ( most of the negative effects in term of pakistan).
then the solution for better management of affairs since urbanization is on the rise.

U have elaborated first part efficiently, but i cannot be sure of the second part. I also did not attempt this question because of the second part as it was a bit difficult to deal with though i have good hand at sociology.

Well Sadia if you want me to tell you exactly what was right and wrong in your question than above highlighted phase was not to be included in the question as you went detracked while attempting it. You started with change and then went on to nations' revolution which talks less of social changes but more of systems and Macro changes.....
N even you didnt handle revolution typically right as well. How can you justify a revolution from 1940-1947.....

But dont worry on it. Sociology is high marks giving paper. it has always room to give you marks even you completely got away with the question cz ultimately you're talking about society in every question. Taking lenient edge we do talk about.....

in my knowledge social change is of two types..evolution and revolution and i justify the revolution from 1940 to 1947 as mass contact campaign, resolution and awareness, leadership, organization and rapid changing scenario..and so ..revolution is not a social change??

You took it in a very broader perspective, i already quoted this. Revolution comes in it as social change but in macro perspective, let me tell you what a revolution is.
Revolution is a change in organizational, social and systematic structures. That can widely impact your change in constitutions, institutions, culture, economy and society......But we were inherited same culture, same institutions, cz constitution as we followed that of 1935 act and economy and society was also no more different after years of impact. Though what we had only difference was ideology on the basis of religion than religion defined the rest of the terms like change in culture, living, norms etc, We can in no way term the period between 1940-47 as revolution but we can term it as Struggle for independence ... I hope you got my point...You must be clear about revolution now.

But if you take the broader lens of social change which does not just stick to the collective behavioral approach but covers macro issues than evolution n revolution also come into it....

I think so change that reproduced is diffusion and assimilation of like terms suited to age..one can compare it as Darwin proposed evolution.that concept ed in sociological term by Spencer.

you called it independence movement.in what perspective can one look thy movement.revolution is abrupt change...

if we look in political arena than Muslims separated from Hindus and got independence from English..
Muslims ideology of Islam is delicate fabrication of religion and Islam.so you admit as its an ideological change.than why change in government..one can term Muslim separatism as revolution and independence from English.

If you say revolution is an abrupt change and still you are saying pakistan movement was a revolution then you should say Bangladesh appearing on the map of the world, Muslim central asian states, ireland an all states who got independence were due to revolution....If so then kindly elaborate..... Czi dont term an independence movement as revolution as i already have specified in previous post what a revolution is!!!

The revolution you highlighted still speaking of themselves as independence movement....
1.Ireland got independence from Britain and Bangladesh from Pakistan.now Baluchi are working on the same tune..
Evolution rated sustainable changes and revolution converse of it.if i said the social change which came due to partition is evolution than why that did not sustained after Quaid..

2.if you are saying its not a change than it would be injustice to social change itself..

3.you mentioned after 1940s its only an ideological change..than Bolshevik revolution was too an ideological change...
4..Iranian white revolution is only concerned about economic system and shah was remained as a monarch..than what would be that change..
5.Iranian Islamic revolution is revolved around religious ideology..than what is that change?
