Due to space I have marked D too Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2 |
Answered the questions totally according to my own concepts and understanding. Hope the examiner likes them. :( I did the same last year as well. :p If the paper checker is the same as last year, he will like my paper :) as he had liked it last year and made me qualify :) despite the fact that I was expecting to flunk in sociology. :P

1. Socialization is
(c) Building up of norms and values in the personality by groups 2. Who can be taken as early pure sociologist among the social thinkers? (Pure sociologists are Ernest Burgess, Robert E. Park, Herbert Spencer, Albion Small. Not sure about Auguste Comte but Khuldoon and Durkheim were definitely not pure sociologists.) 3. Ascribed social status of a person is determined by (d) None of these (I dont know how it can be "a" because Ascribed status is the social status a person is assigned at birth or assumed involuntarily later in life. It is not something we get biologically.) 4. In Cultural Lag the part that moves slowly is called (d) None of these (non-material culture) 5. The spread of cultural traits and patterns in space is called: (c) Diffusion 6. A Stimulus-Response Condition between two persons is called: (b) Dialogue 7. Sociology 2014
Dear aspirants its not too difficult paper. Those candidates who had preffered the book of sociology by Abdullah khurram Niazi had attempted atleast four questions rightly including objective type. The question paper is totally conceptual. wish you all best of luck.:closedeye

Wow, People have got different opinion regarding the nature of paper like if it was tough or easy, but to me, i would say for those who prepared well for sociology, it might have sounded tough, but for the people who didn't prepare, they got it easy, same is the case with me, here i belong to the second group of people :pp but i decided to think like sociologist for three hours and attempted the paper, now i don't know what i have done with the paper, and what the examiner is going to do with it

Socialization question was from Nature vs Nurture :D psychology

14. A sample is (a) A process of selecting items [/QUOTE] 14.A sample is a smaller part representing the universe so the correct answer is b |
Urbanism is an attitude. Its a character of urban life
|
8. c
12. d 20 .a |
12.innovation
answer is d.non of these |
No, d was not write for innovation, because in dictionary I found the meaning of innovation as ejaad, ikhtraah, jiddat, biddat, whereas that of invention is ejaad, ikhtraah, so I guess option A was correct, that was Invention.

If giving new theories and ideas makes you a sociologist, you can call me the latest in this chain. I can't comment on the toughness of paper yet it was interesting.

have you attempted it ,what was your answer ? |
No i didn't attempt this question because I thought it would be tough to draw a clear line as state of globalizing is not uniform and both have relevance to different areas.

by ''space'' it is meant, the unfilled area, when a cultural unit gets removed, it is supposed to be replaced with another, which will said to fill the unfilled space..
