1-Oceans are most saline in: Tropical Regions ( due to high heating ; intense insolation)
2-Salinity depends on climate ( as climate determine the rate of evaoparion and not the depth) 3-Erosion of waves make: wave-cut platforms 4-Rivers form river terraces or rapids 5-Correct Bearing: Cylindrical projection 6-Zenithal projection: curves (as he is asking about latitude and not about longitude; longitudes are radii of circle ) 7-In which projection parallels appear as straight lines: Cylindrical 8-Narrow strip of land connecting two larger land areas: Isthmus 9-Air Mass definition 10-Gulf stream is a warm stream of Atlantic Ocean 11-Sharpe ridges formed by two glaciers: Aretes 12-Mistral is a wind of Southern France 13-Atacama is a desert in Chile 14-Tropospause is a border between Troposphere and Stratosphere 15-Troposphere specific quality is Most of the atmosphere’s water vapour is in Troposphere 16-Subtropics have high pressure because of due to convergence of air and not descending as the air descends where the pressure is low 17-Wind speed depends on Pressure Gradient 18-Most insolation: Equator 19-Tropic of capricorn .. most insolation on 23rd September |

Air descends at around 30 degree latitude: Hadley cells. High pressure belts are anti-cyclones where air descends, it does not rise! Air rises where pressure is low. Example: Equatorial trough.

Ok. What is more saline? Cold water or warm water?

Salinity doesn't depend upon depth of ocean but its characteristic of saline water to subside less saline water. What determines salinity in the ocean include climatic factors i-e Evaporation,Fresh water content through rivers and rain etc but not the depth of the ocean.
Moreover its not necessary that cold water is always more saline than hot water. Its december 21 not September 23rd... http://geography.about.com/od/locate...ccapricorn.htm Regards, Stay Blessed

However, even if you ignore the temperature saline water is more dense and it sinks to depth. As you trace the depth, you will find different levels of salinity from top to bottom. Thus, salinity of the ocean water depends on depth.
