My God!!! It's really tough paper. I have passed essay paper twice but this kind of essays could have been a challenge for me. Thanks to my father who told me to skip CE15, otherwise I would have definitely been in a danger zone.

By the way, If had I taken this year, I would have attempted essay number 9.

Wish you best of luck friends :)

OH FPSC, What have you done!!!

Again, apart from the topic relating to terrorism, all guesses of even the most experienced tutors were of no use. No doubt a high majority of the aspirants would have opted the first topic.

For the aspirants having HR background, the 5th topic was so relevant. It is the exact statement of Peter Principle. Hence, HR and management dominated degree holders should have opted this one. 4th topic was also tricky but easy.

Majority of the topics demanded the capability of abstract thinking and creative visualization for the written text. None of the topics is acutely difficult to understand but in order to write a 2000+ word essay, one needs to be a hell of a writer with much more than the average knowledge on the topic.

CE 2015 aspirants, get ready to be amazed by ‘untrendy’ papers like this one.

essay 2015

The sixth one about freedom of expression easy and doable

Khadijha Arib Saturday, February 14, 2015 01:11 PM

Number 6 related to freedom of speech was a good choice

RoadBlock Saturday, February 14, 2015 01:22 PM
The sixth one about freedom of expression easy and doable
In my view, it is the trickiest topic.

You have to be an eloquent writer in order to prove how can one defend someone's right while opposing his/her stance in the first place? It is not entirely about freedom of expression in which someone demands freedom for expressing their opinion. It is a two tier topic that takes into account both parties concerning the freedom of expression (In favour and against the expressed opinion). One can also link this topic to the notion of universal tolerance and harmony. Hence, it is a broad topic.

Nevertheless, no one knows about the right and wrong approach. Let's wait and watch.

Whispering Shadow Saturday, February 14, 2015 01:35 PM

It now gets clear that FPSC has finally changed its lines for once and always, leaving no room for cramming and spoon-fed essays production on the paper day. It now really demands one to be well aware of happenings all around the world and appreciable language skills. By the way if I were to attempt I would have chosen number-1 or 8.

musmanhussain Saturday, February 14, 2015 03:54 PM

After attempted both papers, kindly share your outline.
Sarwar Khokar you must share your outline.

malik20 Saturday, February 14, 2015 04:23 PM

My interpretation of topics..

Anticipation is often better than realization..
In my opinion if one is to approach this topic in the pre-partition and post partition perspective (Muslims migrate to a new land for the rewards of a free life they so rightfully deserved but the grim reality they face till today) essay could have been attempted.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade..
Be optimistic in face of difficulties. Again a general scenario where one can paint a grim picture around us, a country mired with controversies, terrorism, poverty, deserted by international community but a the same time an optimistic outlook to these challenges..

War on terror & technology related were fairly obvious ones but required concrete facts and knowledge..

The fact that 80% of candidates would have gone for terrorism related topic I would have gone for anticipation is better than realization..
