MQM was funded by India

If MQM was funded and trained by India since two decades and we are informed by BBC.My question is very simple that where were our national investigation agencies and forces? (Irony of Nation)

@marwatone Sorry
hope this time it will be OK.

I think we should wait for the claim to be proved in a court of law first, and then we can raise all the fingers in many directions. That said, it is now the duty of the government to probe the allegations both in national and international courts of justice. And like always if the government rests to mere rhetoric, then the thing is very obvious - for MQM of its involvement and for PML'N of its bigotry and dirty alliance.
And to add here such political crises is part of national security challenges that Pakistan faces today.

It has not been proven yet, government of Pakistan has asked bbc to share the evidence. While mqm has denied the charge and labeled the whole thing as media trial. Let's hope it's not true otherwise it's going to be a cause of shame for our country and especially for our intelligence agencies.

Just for argument's sake if this is true then the government should expose the whole party and leave no stone unturned to bring these culprits to justice. It's called treason and you get death penalty for that.

As far as our intelligence agencies are concerned , in my opinion , they probed the matter first and so the raid at nine zero was occurred . There are grey areas , lacunas every where so in our intelligence agencies. But we must keep in mind , these are mere allegations. MQM is innocent until proven guilty.

Our agencies definitely knew all these prior to the disclosure by BBC reporter but our governments consistently lack conviction to tack stern actions. It is due to political expediency. Agencies covertly do “justice" with the culprit traitors and none takes responsibility. As such parties have mandate of the public, so ruling parties think before initiating direct action. Nevertheless, this time the conviction of military leadership is heading to phase out these elements. Slow and steady it has to be as these elements hold sway in the metropolis and none wants sudden violence looming large.

MQM being funded by India won't serve as a surprise to many .. Especially to agencies and forces .. It was only a matter of time it all being unfolded .. Later at one point people will also be surprised to know that most top bureaucrats and politicians were also on Indian payroll ..

Regarding the question 'where were our agencies and forces' .. Well, they knew it long before you and I did .. But MQM is a political reality .. You need strong evidence to oust a political party .. It cannot be dismantled on mere opposition by another political party .. (Khan Sahab tried to do that single handed after getting to know Altaf's motives during a visit to India about more than a decade ago) ..

Let's hope we gather enough material to have this party banned for ever .. But to me, the real victory for Pakistan will come when we catch the individual Mir Jaffars in bureaucracy, parliament, senate and media .. I have no doubts what so ever that we have a herd of black sheep in patriotic camouflage there ..

Regards ..

Well, as far as funding is concerned, IJI was funded by pak army and isi, a streamline religious group is still funded by Saudi Arab . And many other religious seminaries are being funded by out " Brother Islamic Countries " . All have their concerns, but in case of MQM , funding is linked by India . So until and unless they are proven guilty , must be considered innocent. The good thing is that , Now their opponent is BBC . And they should have file a case of defamation in UK . Let see. Things going to be changed , how and when . ....

Whatever you all may say, the facts remain that MQM has been the most influential, persuasive and significant party in Karachi who has an enormous vote bank, and has been under a constant attack by critics and parties of other provinces and by the establishment division. All the previous allegations on MQM from Jinnah poor plan to Nato containers theft have been proved untrue. My assertions are far from declaring MQM as a clean party, rather, I am arguing over the constant slandering of MQM without any substantial evidence. When the Peshawar attacks took place and the imam masjid was found guilty, it was later revealed that he and his family casted their vote to PTI but it did not provoke any outcry against Tehreek-e-insaaf, in-fact, views emerged that every individual is a voter of a particular party and his actions cannot be blamed to a party, but whenever the party involved is MQM, this political philosophy changes and a small theft by any general voter is regarded as a burglary by MQMs political wing.
The recent BBC report is nothing but a black and white copy of the press-conference done by the SSP Anwar a month ago or so; that is the one and the only source of BBC’s allegation. Wisely speaking, if the report proves to be untrue, BBC cannot be charged for damages as their story is backed by the SSP Anwar’s press conference.
