This budget clearly reflects that government of the day has failed in collecting sufficient funds from various agencies including friends of Pakistan forum to meet the mushrooming budget deficit, which runs in billions. It is apparent that president and his dedicated team's visits to varios countries for collection of donations have not bear much fruits. All the money which President got in his visits was in the shape of loans with tight conditions like uplifting subsidies, depreciating currency, etc. Now ministry of finance has declared that budget deficit wiil be meet by getting loan from IMF.This budget also throws quantum of light upon miserable condition of our traumatised economy. Our economy is suffering from problems like flight of capital, depreciation of forex reserves, fiscal deficit.Only services sector has performed well, while industrial sector has suffered set back because of persistent outages, hence performing very badly. All the economical indicators reflect miserable condition of economy.Poverty graph went up,unemployment remained as unaddressed challenge.Performance of banking and telecom sector was encouraging. As for, whether it is peple friendly budget?I think this is a tough budget which will not provide any relief to poor class. The relief given to government employes stands as a joke in view of souring prices of basic and essential commodities.Inflation rate is much higher, thus 15% increase in allowances will not solve much grievances of employes of government sector.

Government raises salaries of government of employees by 15 percent
Assalam Alaikum
I want to know that what is the criteria or ration in which these salaries has been increased. I have calculated first three grades and come to know that the new salaries are not exact twice of the previous one... in one case it was. like for example 446, 446*2= 892 but here it is 851(close to double) 455, 455*2=905 here it is 910 (which is approximately double) 471, 471*2=942 1011 (here its neither double nor very close) The point is that i jst wanted to know the percentage increase in each grade? or if thr is actually a percentage increase in actual or not? or its just random number selection? Thanks |
