The biggest problem in Pakistan and causing the dilemma of Pakistan is JUSTICE.

Illiteracy

i feel once we establish a good education standard plus "education for all" is implemented in its true sense , then Pakistan can flourish in a much better way and maybe some good education can raise our level of Humanity too :-) .

In my opinion the 2 major problem of pakistan are
1) "Confusion". We are confused in everything from picking up dress to choosing the correct leader.
2) Lack of vision. we don't know what we are and what we want to be and what we should be as a nation?

The time of Morco Polo has ended long back but basic strategy is implicable in all times. Choose what is known as destiny but keep doors to discovery open. If we can atleast clear up our mind and set up our destiny according to known simple facts only then un known solution to other problems can be obtained.
We don't need to complicate things much. we just simly need to say "bye-Bye" to passimism.
Identification of objective, sticking to it and learning can be only way to bitmap visionay goal and aim for ourselves and for our nation in long run.
If we took 62 years to create problems and self destruction then rationally we should expect and keep margin of atleast half of as much time to solve them.
Magical wand is there, but not in the hand of fairy god mother but fortunately in our own hands.

The topic is very interesting and all the members have given good answers. It is evident from the question that we have not defined our priorities yet and we still have to find what is wrong with us. This is the biggest problem that we are facing right now. We are not a defined nation, every one has its own interests and he is working for that. If we analyze our social structure needs improvement. Overall change will occur when the individuals of the nation will be trained in the best possible way. Here comes the role of our education system. Having produced competent and able people then come the problem of corruption due to which the system is not running properly. Eradicating corruption from its roots and having able people then we will be in the position to take over and we ill start our journey. Then come the consistency that is very important. Then come the institution building on the war footings. And all this will take time and patience.

The main prob is Mr.Zardari.A person undergraduate,What he can do for us?And then we the people of pakistan are responsible for our problems.We are emotional fools and we are not able to choose our leaders.The root causes are that we r emotional fools.We will b better if we realize wht we actually want.So i can say right now problem is leader and permanent reason is our ownselves.
