it is too good to become a hafiz but they must be taught Arabic as language that they could understand the meaning of the holy Quran.

lakin quraan yaad karna b bohot afzal hai
jsi shaks k dil main quraan ho us ka darja ALLAH talaa ne b buland farmaaya hai.or wo roz.e.qyamat apnay 10 azizon ki bakhshish b kawaye ga

Ravailia nay sahi farmaya hafiz Quran kay darjat kay baray mein... in ki baat ko aagay barhatay huay mein ye kahoon ga kay:

hafiz Quran tarjuma to yaad nahin kartay... magar mukamal islami mahol mein Quran hifz karnay ki waja say un ki Quran kay mutaliq samajh boojh aik aam musalman say kafi wasi hoti hai...

Asal mein to har dor ki tarha is dor ki zaroorat bhi fikr o amal hai....hifz karna to Hazrat Mohammad(SAW) kay waqt ki tradition ko follow kia jana hai...us dor mein paper or printing press na honay ki waja say Quran ko mehfooz rakhnay ki khatir hifz kia jata tha... Is dor mein sab kuch honay kay bawajood hifz karnay ka azeem or muqadas amal us tradition ko zinda javed rakhnay kay liay hai...

wo arabic samajhtay thay ye unka positive point tha...or hamaray kafi hufaz arabic samajh or bol bhi latay hain...or jo nahi bol saktay wo kam say kam Quranic talimat pay dastars rakhtay hain...

waisay Quran hifz karnay kay baad hufaz i Quran, Quran ka tarjuma or tafseer ka bhi baghor mutalia kartay hain...

is bahas say jo asal bat akhaz hoti wo hai amal ki...to amal ko apna manshoor banaiye na kay sirf tarjumay ko...

Most of the Hufaz e Quran I personally met, do understand the meaning of Quran. The Huffaz e Quran sundas is talking about may be those, who just hifz at the early age and then leave madrassa.

Asslamulaikum,

Any one who recites the Holy Qur'an, just by reading a single alphabet not word, he/she is awarded a virtue ( NEKI), Not to talk of those who keep the whole Qur'an in Heart.
An Hafiz on the day of resurrection will be having a crown on his head, and will accompany 10 members of his family to Heaven. Subhanallah!!
(NOTE: HE WILL TAKE THOSE TEN MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY, WHOM ARE CALLED INFERNALS).
It is better not to object Huffaz-e-Qur'an, rather pray for them, and for ourselves.

I do not refer to Huffaz in General. I only speak for those the kind the honourable member above, Sunda, refers to. I have seen them, observed them, and interacted with them. There are some who are like wax, helpful and brimming with knowledge that helps light your way. and there are those who are being referred here who claim to be reciters of the Quran and huffaz and muallims, but have sold their consciences for a few mere dimes and are worse than the most ignorant.

The Quran without its understandting is Arabic. To a common man in the village, its all the same whether you are talking in Arabic or you are Reciting verses. The book says to read it and to understand it....did any of the suhaba karam not uderstand it.

Dear brothers and sisters, I have always been maintaining, that please take time out of your daily lives to understand your religion. Due to not understanding what you are reading, the people of our society have fallen into the rituals and habits of pagans. They read the Quran, and then offer prayers - then when going to their shops, they adulterate, steal, weigh things wrongly and tell lies with Qasams, all expressly forbidden in the Quran.

How do u expect to get redemption when you dont know the meaning of redemption and you have memorized only the word redemption. Do you fairly believe that you will be given redemption just by repeating words without understanding what you are directed, ordered and advised to do.

As to Sawab, No doubt about it...even the niyyat to read it or offer prayers earns you sawab in the house of our Lord, the Almighty. But isnt it He, Himself, who commands in the Quran, to listen carefully while Quran is being recited around you. Was this command to just listen and not to understand it?

We claim it to be a Deen, a way of life, how do u follow a way of life, if you do not even understand the basis and foundation of it.

The huffaz are the standard bearers of Islam, the miracle that is a living proof that the Quran is in the same unaltered state it was 1400 yrs ago.
But are the products of todays madressahs who are killing innocent people in the name of ISlam, do you call them pillars...do they even know what logic, thought, prudence and wisdom stand for...things that our Prophet and the companions symbolised, things that we have unfortunately banished today from our collective memory.

Memorising or rote learning leads you no where unless it is accompanied by an understanding of what it is that you have memorized. And this stands true for all knowledge, whether CSS level subjects, or the 7 year course of a Muallim, this stands true for all of it (You are entitled to your own opinion in this matter).

mein khud Hafiz e Quran HON...YR YE APNE AAP PE DEPEND KRTA HAI K parhne wala is ko smjhe b sahe..han majority Quran ko smj k nahe parhte...tarjama,tafseer,etc.se na.ashna hoti hai...laikin han ye acha point hai sub ko smj k parhna chyay or yehe sub se bari baat hai...Hafiz ho ya koi or sub ko Quran pak ko smjna or is per amal krna chayay..is qisim ki discussion honi chayay.......
