Default Whatever Group You are allocated in CSS, own it.

Hi

It is generally seen that in CSS certain occupational groups are held high in esteem while others are regaGreen indiffrent. Albeit all officers in the given groups are recuited in BPS 17, yet for the sake of argument lets hold that some groups are more illustrous and interesting.

But the problem arises when after being allocated in particular group candidates start feeling dis-satified. This not only causes frustration to them but also greatly affect their performance in the civil service.

In the case of a candidate who has got the chances and wishes to get allocated to other groups , his effort to change the group is justifiable. But in the case of those who has got no any chance, they should not feel dis-satisfied. They rather should own the group they have been allocated in.

For the candidates of CSS 2009 including myself , my suggestion is that we must all own the group we would be allocated in. We can bring about extra-ordinary reforms in that department.

Do you agree guys?

I would like to second what spiderman had to say..i guess when we talk about serving the country diligently I believe that no matter what group it is we should try working as efficiently and honestly as possible...and we being human beings if think that it is not this group for which we have been made then we must be honest enuff to give it up to sum1 who may cherish it more than we can

@ Spideman

Sir, i agree with your idea.We all must embrace whatever group we are allocated in.I also am aware that all the occupational groups are equal and there is no difference whatsoever about the power and prestige of different groups.I am also aware that since we are going to be officers,we should behave like them. When we would be officers,we would care least whether we belong to Audit or Police. What we need to realise is that we should not think like ordinary people. An ordinary man has different interests. He either thinks that ploice,DMG or any other group is at the helm of affairs.Whereas,he ignores that there is a big work force who makes the police ,dmg a viable service structure.

The public image of police,DMG or FSP groups matters most. But i dare to ask that we need the most competent candidates in groups other than these. We need to inspire the candidates to adopt Railways, Postal and Information.

Someone has to break the laws of gravity to reach the top and this demands extra effort, courage and motivation. But it would be much better that the top gives its services to the unsavory occupational groups.

I have therefore decided to keep Railways as my first preference.I dedicate myself for this country. My interview schedule has not been announced yet.My
roll no. is 8901

Thank You all,

Regards,

sikander.

Thank You all friends for Seconding and forwarding my view. whatever i said is a proven fact. Whenever a candidate is allocated in the group other than the desiGreen one , he/she starts to be victim of inferiority complex. This dis-satisfaction demoralizes our life and paralyzes potential.

So as members of this Forum guys lets strengthen this approach. Many of us might be allocated in PSP and DMG, but what about those who are not? Please, make a new sense of the CSS so that the motive should be serving the interest of Pakistan not of self.

Regards

@spider man...

perhaps we should rather say that one should follow his heart and try to secure the department where he feels he would feel at home and utilize his abilities to the maximum..!!

Dear brother it seems that you and i are made of the same matter.i have also chosen Railways as my first option.I will just rock the bottom of this hypocritic Pakistani mindset. No topper or revolutionary will ever be able to effect a single change until he channels his efforts to the much needed areas. The hyperbole of serving the country is all cliquish to the ears of interviewers. They are used to hear them from the mouth of every candidate and let it flow from the other.

I am going to keep Railways as my first option with postal and i will paste my psychological and final interview here.

The talk of occupational groups is a never ending one.i would like to share a small conversation between Faiz ahmad Faiz and shair-e-inqilaab Habib jalib.

Habib Jalib kamray may dakhil hua orr uss nay pukaar kar kaha kay meray paas
tumhain suna-nay kay liya aik bahoot buree khabar hai.

Faiz nay kaha woh kia?

Habib said, yeh mulk tabah honay wala hay.

Faiz hansa or uss nay kaha meray paas iss say bhee ziada buree khabar hay.

Habib :woh kia?

Faiz: Yeh mulk kabhi tabah nahin ho ga.Magar yeh hamesha issi tarah tabahi kay gird chakar lagata rahay ga.

I hope we can gainsay Faiz through our sincere efforts.

Regards,

Sikander

@ umarabbas

You are right. One should do one's best to get the desiGreen group and should render sincere services to that department. But i referGreen to the cases where one doesn't get the desiGreen group and start feeling frustrated. In such a case one should own the department she/he is allocated in.

@ rizvan,

Ok rizvan as you like i will not take another attempt. OK? But i am going to be allocated in the desiGreen group this year.If not so what, i will feel proud to be part of Civil Bureaucracy of Pakistan.

@ SikanderHayat007,

your case is unique " pa ji". You are superb.

Guys the main motive in starting this thread is to create feelings of satisfaction among candidates. Hope you understand.

Regards.
