i will add some more confusion ... i saw argueing wid someone that JINNAh was seculer and democrate while he was saying jinnah wanted khilafat and he showed me one video where DR. ISRAR AHMED was giving interview to WAQT NEWS ....here is link..
now dr.israr ahmed is very crieadible source so may be this is right ...but what we normally read about and saw him on t.v and what impression we have got is not like that he wanted khilafat and hardcore islamic system and laws ! so i my self is confused!

Dear,
Quaid i azam was not a secular and yes he wanted to establish a democratic system based on the principles of Islam.and why we fail to develop such a state is due to lack of competent and honest leadership ,unstable political system, and intervention of military... Regards,

It is wrong to say Quaid-e-Azam as a secular person as in any of his statement he didn't declare Pakistan as a secular state but one of his statement which is being coloured by his opponents, who are propagandizing against, him. In that statement he is revising pure Islamic concept about the religion and minorities in a state where he said, "In Pakistan minorities 'll be free to worship and in their traditions in state", which is a pure Islamic concept about minorities.
Moreover, the video of Dr. Israr Ahmad shows that he wanted Khuilafat as the way to rule in Pakistan and he claimed that Democracy in the form of Khilafat is a real norm of Islam. He told us that Islamic principles are, still, fresh as those were 1300 (now 1400) years back, sent by ALLAH ALMIGHTY and propagated by Muhammad (Say Darood). He declared Pakistan an Islamic state and labortary of Islam. He urged to strengthen the bonds with the Islamic territorial states, acknowledging them as our own nation as Muslim Ummah. So, you are excessing if you are calling such a great Islamic leader as a secular person. Think, if he had been secular then why our hearts would advocat him? Baqi Haq, Wallah ilam.
