"Foreing Aid" Is it blessing or a curse?

formation of society is based on the idea of mutual cooperation, where mutual help is a must. helping out one another in time of crises not only lessen the burdn but also make realtionship stronger. So foreighn aid is very important in case of need.
The main question must be about the utilization of that help/aid. unfortunatly in pakistan case the aid/help goes to wrong hands and the masses whoe are need of that aid are left distitute.
we may say that it is like a knife, you may stove it in your back or u can use it for productive purpose.
also aids are with stipulation and without stipulation, a state must look carefully into those stipulations that whether they are for a state's benfit or not.

Foreign Aid is the assistance given by different countries to a community or a state in times of severe occurrences.It aims on making affected segments able to stand on their feet in quandary.Its proper allocation and distribution makes it more significant or demolishes its skin in the eyes of a keen observer.
In so far as its relevancy to pakistan is concerned,let me vent out my intrinsic feelings at the risk of offending my fellows,that Aid garnered and procured in times of dire need here in pakistan is utilized for personal interests rather than collective well being.Politicians, bureaucrats and humane-mongers set themselves at the task of looting and plundering in the name of distribution.Effectees on other hand remain untouched for their being dominated.Transparency is dumped and corruptions is unleashed for serving the masters by trespassing tenets in general.
At the same time,perpetual incidents have made us totally dependent on international community for our survival.Admittedly,we have become lackadaisical and our lukewarm strategies are no longer effective.We are becoming used to this assistance and its addiction has made us devoid of our potentialities.Making money by illegitimate practices is out poured merely in the name of human service.Multiplicity of ethical downfalls have snatched our reliance on our collective will.
Viewed so,Foreign Aid in all its utilities has made us scavengers rather than philanthropists.

Foreign aid is like lending a helping hand to an individual or a country but focus should be on the consequences as to how it is utilized. Was the aid utilized to prove a blessing or bane depends on how effectively the individual or a beneficiant country receives it utilize it. So there should be no doubt about helping hand (i.e. foreign aid) rather how it is used should be on the table for discussion.

Unluckily it is proving a bane with respect to Pakistan. An overview of the past decades shows that whenever Pakistan received foreign aid, it is not utilized effectively to mobilize people and develop a home grown medium or small industries which ultimately are the sole proprieters to repay the debt(foreign aid) rather it has resulted in the culmination of subsidies offered by govt. or raising more taxes on poverty striken masses. So resultantly it is not utilized properly to build our nation and put an end to the problems rather it has aggravated the situation.

it is about the country,government,and political behaviors.
it is curse for us,because by the time burden of it is increasing and handicapping our country.
from the past these debts didn't work for the progress of country,there are rare examples that it contribute in the progress.
debt's only in one condition count as blessing when the income is more then expenditures,but here we see that debts were not utilized in that way by which they can start any project's/plane's and generate income so they can avoid future debts,countries like us are going to become debt slave because debts directly effect on the foreign and defense policies of that countries and so it is happening here,we are designing our foreign policy by the will of those who are giving debts and giving room them here.
clever countries develop there economies through the debts,they design planes and progress,
but here our government's are and weren't familiar with the word planing,
they always remain confused and that's the reason that our debts are more then our countries income

The UN agencies that cooperate with poor countries attach several conditions which include the hiring of their experts in the projects, and that experts/techenical advisors/consultants take back the major portion of the project cost in shape of salaries and fee.
Similarly, the US attach conditions of buying the equipments/vehicles only from USA and in turn takes back the donations they gave.
In short, we can say the foregin aid is not bad for poor countries like us, but it should be without conditions and no strings attached with it.

aid has been proving a curse for Pakistans sovereignty n dignity.
It s causing hinderance in our own Plans bcz the master minds behind our projects r IMF n WB. They take bck their money which is being provided in the form of aids specially IMF. Bcz They inerupt not only in our economic system but also in our social fabric eg, change syllabus acc to their own wants n desires, I als heard the ( sggestiing Urdu as an optional subject, concept of Jihad should not added in books).. This is a severe blow to our menatl builbup of children.
If the countty is in debt as is always happening, they will always behind to teach Pakistan n interupt in its Plans, n strategies( Cary logger bill)
They were the demarits which can b noticed easily but their are also long term harmfull impacts of foreign aidsshareaf, zardari major examples).
In addition to it there r many more....................... n r continued without hezitation n shame.

Two dimensions
 

Foreign aid has two dimensions,one is to seek favour of own country's nation and another is to seek favour of own country's favour.
Foreign aid makes a country slave.
Foreign aid brings political and economic imperialism.

Foreign aid is a biggest curse due to the following reasons

Increase in Foreign Aid's Debt Servicing

Habit of Dependence on Foreign Loan and Misuse of Aid

Exploitation by Donor Countries

Savings Investment and Balance of Payments Gaps

High amount of interest charged by the donors

The countries dependent on foregin aid (more then needed) ultimatly fall in "Dependancy Syndrome" and it prevent them from developing their own resources.
