jang group has adopted the policy of nawai waqt news to oppose the sitting government.o.k. as this is the duty of media to criticize govt.
but there is another responsibility of media;

1] to avoid the creation of uncertainty
2] to avoid triggering violence
3] alongwith govt. also keep an eye on the opposition

now, tell me why hamid mir broadcasted the live call of the dean of red mosque in which he gave an edict of jihad against pak army.
we need a change in the character of politicians and not the change in faces.
if feudocracy has to be switched by honest leadership then WHY geo is not providind a fungible leadership like mqm and pti.while other channels are providing that stuff.

geo unlike other responsible channels is emphasizing upon changing the faces.and, to GEO,there is only one substitute of current political elite and he is MR.NAWAZ.

The Mantra of this Group is to creat a chaotic environment across pakistan...i dont know the principle upon which they r working bt m sure they were the first in media,try to destabilize the country through all means of communication

Yes agreed. Look at the language of Geo anchors like Ansar Abbasi, Shahid Masood, Hamid Mir etc. Their style of writing and selection of words are very insulting and rude, and they are all being backed by the PML(N). I salute the Govt for its patience and positive attitude as far as reaction is concerned.
Geo's cheap shows/programs like "Ham sab umeed say hain" etc. are spoiling the mind of masses resulting in shaping violent behaviour.

In democratic societies it is natural phenomena what the Jang Group is doing. The people who are in power face criticism from media. It is accountability not a conspiracy to destabilize the government. In my opinion the Jang Group, Anchors and all media persons as patriotic we are.

They are not supporting Nawaz Sharif instead they are criticizing the government and strengthening the opposition because government failed miserably to deliver.

Hi Guys....In my observation media never supports to any party...They only support to viewers thinking means It depends on the public what they want to watch becuase its make popularity of channel & make good income.

Some people watch illegal stuff on TV and raised objections against it afterwards. The question arise that if you dont like it then why you watch it ?
Similar is the case here. If you people dont like Geo, why you watch it keenly ? Stop watching it and it will lose its popularity !

I agreed with sociologist.

Infact this is not the reason that we must leave watching it. We have a nature as a nation that we like un-certainty. Media creates hype due to issues happening in our daily life & so we want to see politicians fighting in programmes, talk shows which are against Govt.
Just consider that if they will start appreciating Govt policies then there will end of hype & who will watch them????

if they are patriots than why they run VoA programme to propagate american agenda?

they can be patriotic but in their condition;
patriotism is directly proportional to the scope of news whether in favour of pakistan or against.

they are following the economic theory of patriotism.

if illegal stuff is available abundently then it is always deficult to restrict everyone.so, it is obligatory to snuff out and halt the bad stuff rather than allowing the illitrate and youth audience to decide.

same is the case with media.
media channels are available to everyone(having weak or strong tandency to be hijacked by propaganda).
so, it is essential to provide everyone with unbiased and quality stuff.

what geo is doing is only the usage of bizarre vernacular attacks upon
several leaders like musharraf,zardari and everyone.

why geo programme "HUM SAB UMEED SE HAIN " , has not made any cartoo or parody of sharif brothers since last year?

it has cartoonified even mr.jinnah. why, not mr.nawaz ?
