Default Why so much calmness regarding Balochistan?

Today I read a line,
"Balochistan is in the news because it is not in the news."

Why so?

Has the issue been solved? Law and order situation maintained? Everyday life of ordinary people of the province returned to normalcy? The cries of separation halted? Or has the present government sagaciously overcome the crisis?

If the answer to all the above question marks is in negative, then what steps are being taken on the part of present government to create an atmosphere of peace and prosperity or to pacify the frustrated masses of Balochistan.

Balochistan Package, NFC awards and the under process implementation of 18th amendment seem not to have succeeded in toto to kill the grievances of the residents of this province. In fact the law and order situation has further deteriorated in the entire region. The targetted killings, illegal detentions and anonymous abductions are still the order of the day. Moreover, brutally tortured dead bodies are still found, one after another, on the land of Balochistan. Nevertheless, nothing effective seem taking place to counter the evil effects on the part of our 'sincere' government.

Dears, yesterday 15 travellers were burnt alive(including women and children) in Bolan Pass near Sibi at around 120 a.m. The coach was travelling from Jacobabad to Quetta. Who the perpetrators were is a big question mark and their aim behind such horrendous act remains a mystery. Were they Insurgents or Taliban or some other force, nothing could be said.

But the question arises what this quietness and calmness signals to? Where is the media? Does it (media) enjoy freedom in this part of Pakistan? What should be the solutions to come out of such menace?

Its because the situation has become virtually the same all over the country . Compare the number of violent incidents as well as outcries from all the provinces and you shall know.

Post Why so much calmness regarding Balochistan?

There are multitude of ironies confronted by our whole nation particularly by the inhabitants of Baluchistan..

Lack of competent & loyal leadership
Military operations
Territorial prejudice
Discriminative attitude
Uncontrolled law and order situation

Whereas

The foremost act is to provide equality in resources.
Effective Intelligence network to counter real culprits/extremists.
To formulate efficient policies for Education and Development in this province.
Take the people into confidence before making any decision about them.

These most requisite steps may proved to be the valuable steps in order to stabilize the hooch pooch situation of Baluchistan.

There is no denying the fact that currently the whole Pakistan is burning. However, the nature of problem cultivated in Balochistan by the dictator differs from the rest of the provinces.

Balochistan has deliberately been thrown into the hands of evil forces. Perhaps, there was no need to hurt the feelings of already deprived masses by killing their 80 years old leader, who, by now might have died his natural death. He never demanded separation so an amicable settlement of some issues, pertaining to royalty, was possible, I think.

Anyways, the post dictatorship era does not seem serious enough to heal the wounds so that the land of pure be secured from further dismemberment.

May Allah bless Pakistan.
