Default Are we weak nation - why?

Today many countries become our enemies. Because they are powerful and according to the law of international relations that "might is right" they are powerful and we are weak so they dominate and we bear sorrows and defeats. once we become powerful let we command the world.
Is it possible? This question some times make confuse our brilliant people as a dream. Yet we can materialise this dream.
If we do not work for our country today then what will be the future of our coming generation. If we confronted different challenges viz load shedding, terrorism, inflation, lawlessness etc. then why we should present these as a gift for future generation.
This thread is started with a aim to discuss various elements responsible for our weakness. I hope we can stop the elements of destruction if indicated properly.

i will add few things very dangerous for us and yet we are ignorant from as a coll boy.

Yes We are Weak Nation, Because of people like you. Because Pakistani people only thinks and do nothing. Save electricity and shut down your PC LOL - Kidding!

---

I think the core issue of all the reasons behind deterioration of Pakistan is We are following WESTERN CREED and West is leading the world because He is following ISLAMIC TEACHINGS.

They Talk about rights / women recognition / justice / honesty And We talk about corruption / smuggling / extremism / fashion / bf & gf / pornography. Euphemism for They are entering toward the luminous ages and we are drowning by dark ages.

All of the above - If we want to make changes in Pakistan, then each and every Pakistani 180 billion poeple have to read Holy Quran in the language which they understand best.

I might sound acerbic but i don't think we are a nation anymore.

Sindhi hum, Punjabi hum , Pathan hum ......And sadly that's all we are.

Other nations are powerful, because they think that they are powerful, we are weak because we still have a recessive and submissive kind of mind, we are still under the influence of our colonial kings...Our leadership don't face the other leaders of the world with bravery, determination or at equal footing... They have a receiving mind, they are always ready to get money, loans and support from others, Have they ever thought that we are an independent nation and we should behave like that....

Secondly, I THINK OUR ROLE IS ALSO NOT VERY POSITIVE.... we are more inclined towards western style of living and we have forgot our roots and religious identity.....we are in a complex, that's why we are not powerful....we should all think about it seriously....

we are weak because we want to be so. we are divided and until we resolve our interior issues we can not be strong. the only remedy to this problem is UNITY, FAITH, DISCIPLINE....

Education is the core issue against which we are facing all the detriments. The role of individuals is also negligible as most of the people are ignorant and can't think and see above the surface. isn't it better to educate the poor masses that would help in getting self dependence. Creating awareness for individual rights is also quite significant. As a nation comprises of indivduals, hence without changing their attitudes, norms and circumstances, the Nation would be WEAK and SELF DECLINING..........

No doubt, education is the key factor for excelling in all fields of life, national solidarity is essential, we need to shake our sleepy minds and hearts, as Iqbal did....but unfortunately, Iqbal was the one and only... Although his lessons are with us...and we, being the future of Pakistan can change the fate of our country by sincerity and consistent hard work.

Poor masses will never be able to get some education until their poverty is accompanying them like their bosom friend!

Illiteracy is the main cause of our downfall, then come our national traits like dishonesty, leg pulling, jealousy, bribery, slackness, stubbornness, individualistic and extremist attitudes and so many other things.
