Why Karachi always bleeds, why violence, why sectarianism prevails there. why not people realize that weapons are not made for solving disputes. why people of Pakistan think as Pakistani rather as Punjabi, Pashto, Mahajir, Balochi or Sindhi. I want to ask this from every single Pakistani...?

MQM is responsible for the worst condition of Karachi. They do not let any other party to work here in Karachi. Therefore, they are spreading hatred among people. They, their-selves kill their own party members and then start blaming others in order to start battle with other parties. ANP is also same kind of Anti-Pakistan Party like MQM. But they are playing their negative role in NWFP. However, in Karachi only MQM is responsible. If they want they can make their city a peaceful city. Karachi bleeds every now and then and our leaders seem indifferent to the whole situation. Our rulers are working on the principle of "Divide and rule" and they only play politics through spreading hatred among different ethnicity. Some politicians use religion as their weapon to persuade people and some are exploiting the ethnic background of people. It is just a game of power and no body is serious in solving the problems because if they get solved the politicians lose their political agenda to carry with.

People on the other hand are easily deceived by the rhetoric and they also don't want their problems to be solved as they continue to vote these culprits as is evident in the by-elections.

pakistan seems like a banana republic. if u turn on the tv news of violence, killing, extortion and political violence show that it s congo or syria.Poor people of this country are butchering everywhere. Particular in karachi state is directly involved in this politically charaged drama. Three main political parties are in saddle and still karachi is bleeding. When civil and military institutions are politicised and rule of law is replaced by rule of rule of mob or jungle then basic fundamentals of a state are shattered. Pakistan is in deep crisis but vultures are busy in eating it. May allah almighty protect our homand

The issue lies in the so-called ownership of Karachi .. One political party claims Karachi their sole property .. Any act of acquiring land to live or a job to work there puts their city in danger of being taken over by 'foreigners' .. Bhai Pakistan mein reh rahay ho .. Koi banda Karachi mein rahay, Lahore mein rahay, Quetta mein rahay, Ye usski marzi .. Saara Pakistan apna hai .. But no, hamaray to bass shehar apnay hain, soobay apnay hain ..

The answer to the questions lies in the fact that the people of Karachi are being fooled by slogans of Talibanization in Karachi or it being taken over by Pathans .. No ethnic class tolerates the other there ..

Reforms:

De-politicization of Karachi is the only option .. London did it in 1912 or 1920 I guess and cleared the mess there .. No political party should claim to own any part of the country and proper Police reforms, without any 'Political Bhartian' should be adopted ..

However, there is another problem .. I'm not an Einstein to provide simple solutions to difficult problems and hence if applied they can be solved easily .. Problem is that despite all being said and debated, someone in this country or abroad does not want the situation to get better .. The situation can be controlled and bettered in a week, if will is there .. But, which seems not to be there in this and many other cases ..

I would suggest MQM Plz Bhae log Karachi pr baqi sb k sath mil bant kr guzara kr lo. ab Musharaf ka dour to hai nhe k Ap akely badshahat krain ab to PPPP or ANP ko b bardasht krna pry ga na yar.

karachi pe kisi ke ownership nahi hai......we have to show some patience i would be happy k karachi k har ghar pe kisi party k parcham k bajaye agar Pakistan ka sabz parcham laharay ttu shayed nafratay kam ho jaye. I think all the parties including PPP, MQM, ANP etc are responsible for the violence...

Bhai jaan, Violence in karachi start with the creation of MQM and will end only with the demise of MQM. The PPP and ANP have to react when their workers are killed and are forced to take arms for their protection.
