I have different approach in this context. we should divide the present provinces based on revenue generation of that area as well as on administrative ground. Based on facts the south Punjab has not considerable income whereas keeping in view the previous facts and figures the projects has been initiated there by Prime Minister with the income of other areas.
We should not build new provinces till that areas are not financially viable. off-course we can build Karachi, sialkot, Gujrat provinces etc as it can fulfill its financial needs to make it viable.

New provinces means opening a pandora box. Our politicians float an idea that z useful for their own interests , no one cares for the national interest. Pakistan z already facing problem of provincial prejudice they wanna disintegrate it? In last 64 yr, we couldn't develop consensus of water accord jub sirf 4 provinces thay, ab 5 provinces ka consensus ye kesy krwain gay. Ayub khan gave punjab water to india n secured indus. Ab jub k indus k sara ka sara provice sareiki province may ajae ga, who vl give water to punjab. Kia hum itnay candor or selfless hen? Do these guys want to make fertile punjab land barren. Kia separate province bnany sy problem solve ho jatay hen? Then why z there turmoil n outcry in baluchistan. We should b given rights, becoz it z better to have development without province than to remain backward with it. Agr provinces bnany bi hen then there should b atleast 20-30 of it. Small divisional autonomy. This vl raise interdependence. Aik province main cotton or dusray main textile factory. This mutual need vl solidify our national integrity, and eliminate provincialism n promote nationalism. And ofcourse cumbersome administration vl get better. Remember one thing,
"Province are for pakistan, pakistan is not for provinces". This point should b realized.
Promote nationalism and live like a nation.
Make pakistan a nation instead of nations.

alright..!
if demand of new provinces is done making administration an issue or from the perception of better management, it is worth endorsing. But here we must account for two things. It is not only "siraiki sooba" which is in the demand list. Hazara in kpk, Karachi in Sindh, bahawalpur have also come up with same issue. Secondly, the division of assets and resources among the parent- provinces and the new provinces can undeniably be the next issue to dump the country in social turmoil. the hasty creation of provinces will bring imbalance among the provinces which will, in one way or the other, deprive the people of new provinces, in many perspectives. The prevailing conditions of Pakistan are also unfavorable to such demands. There are also other problems which are even crucial and need to be solved prior to this, internal crisis of problems being one of them.

the simple arguments in this regard is the Sialkot, Gujrat & karachi are big industrial cities whereas comparatively the Multan & Bwp have no industry......................

Chk that Fertilizer n sugar sector of Pakistan being majority in Lower Punjab. Mango, Wheat n Cotton production can be attributed to lower Punjab.
Bt have u ever made a comprehensive visit to this area??

If the problem is that some areas are neglected and some are not neglected... then how is it possible that by making new provinces these areas will make progress and all the issues will be solved.
Balochistan is a province and is it making progress?
this will be the issue to all new provinces.... then there will be more chaos in these provinces.

These issues could be solved by giving a shape to local bodies.
Govt. of any province is not holding local bodies election.

New provinces should be created for smooth administration. people will own their province. Our most important issue is that we disown this country. Free and Transparent election will also stop the way of corrupt leadership. See the figure of Indian States in 1947 and now, they have increased the number of States for good governance. Creation of new provinces will not harm the integrity of the country at all then why too much opposition?

making new provinces on the administrative basis is good thing but if you are making provinces just to get political edge then this is highly unethical and uncalled for. I don't endorse the idea of making provinces on the ethnic basis. for me new provinces means more Gillanis, Makhdoms , Khosas , Hashmis etc. I don't want to see them ruling us and treating us like bewildered herd again.

I do not think that it is proper time to have new provinces. Everybody knows and understands the game behind this demand. It is a shrewd game being played by our politicians. The merits to be obtained by making new provinces will be overshadowed by its demerits if started this year. Let us wait for right time when sense and sensibility prevails in our politics.
