yes you are right that our leaders aren't sincere with our nation what about masses? dear every individual participated in the current situation of our country. did you listen that beyond the personal interests one came in the front for the sake of Pakistan? leaders are bound for the public decision, strong decision, we are living in the fool's paradise, and sleeping comfortable sleep thus the politician and others are active in the evil practices.when public will become active , and and sincere no one dare to do so.... ....

i respect the views and suggestion of all the members, but being an engineer i look a the crises in a different way. Power crisis aroused due to the poor management and self interests of the responsible authorities. We all know how this issue aggravated, so lets not talk about the reasons why all this happened, bc every1 knows about it..... lets come to the solution then.....
Many people and experts are talking about alternate sources of energy, like solar, wind, coal and other renewable energy resources. Let me clarify, we can't depend on such resources bc we are not that much advanced and technologically capable of using such resources. It will only result in high prices of the electricity. the most simple and viable solution to this problem is Utilization of hydal potential of pakistan. Pakistan has got the potential of producing more than 50,000 MW of electricity from water resources. So why not use them?? Hydel energy cost only 0.5 Rs/unit to the Government. Although its capital cost is high initially, but it is very useful in the long run.

Even hydro-electricity is not a permanent solution to these power shortages. . .as our neighbour India is building a number dams which would certainly result in less water for Pakistan. The only solution for PAkistan is to use its Thar coal reserves at its earliest. . .And for the future Pakistan should invest in Wind Energy!!!

Hydel energy is old-fasioned solution, its days are gone. It is the favourite of bureaucrats and ministers. Huge dams, mega projects , mega corruption. Look at Basha Dam, Four years gone, its construction has yet to begin. Energy demands multiplies with each passing year.
Thar coal reserves is our hope but what we have done with it. A bureaucrat denies the technical expertise and opinion of Dr. Samar Mubarak Mand. Where we will go?
and what is wrong with Solar energy?
The bottom line is : Energy Crisis is a total Technical matter but in total Non-technical hands.
