FBR's recruitment process truly & strictly on merit this time. person's those have highest marks in written more probably got selected. my father is in FBR HQ
Dear Mariagil,
I am from Multan Region, We gave an interview for UDC on 26 May with 64 nts marks. RTO multan has 12 vacant seats and they called 48 candidates for interview, 1st day they called 20 candidates, I was on Number 20 serial wise. Out of which 7 were absents, so i gave an interview at number 13, Topper had 69 marks, 5 persons were on 65 and I had 64 NTS marks.
I want to ask that please confirm from your sources that what will be selection criteria and weightage?

If only written marks are the sole determinant of selection, the purpose of holding interviews disappears.
In my opinion if 5 candidates are called for interview against one post and they have a difference of 2 to 3 marks, its not necessary that only topper has a chance even the fifth candidate with only 3 marks less can be selected. And this is why interviews are taken.

Yes its true. According to FBR new policy, the candidates having more NTS marks will be selected whether they didn't have performed well in interview. Nts marks are equal to 90 % and interview marks are equal to 10%.

It means that If they are going to appoint 10 candidates, They will pick top 10 NTS marks wise and appoint then in the concerned department...What Sort of criteria is this?

Brother your case is different, you have only one or two marks difference. It means if you did really well in interview then toppers, your total score will be higher. interview marks may vary among candidates.

Interviews play vital role in every department, in FBR also.

Interview carries 10 marks. So persons those score 5 or more selected for their name is merit list. then they finalised lists, only persons those who scores 50% in interviews, less than 50% are failed to make their name to get listed for further process, even u topped the whole pakistan in written. they will be in listed by adding all scores like NTS+interview. interview was not just a formality, it is play vital role in final recommendations. So all the best to all of u. one more thing, interviewer don't have right to select or reject any person. they only have right to give marks each candidate one by one according to his performance in interview. all the best to all of U
