That is human psyche. Earlier befor the result our biggest ambition was to get selected. And now when the result has been announced, we are concerned about the promotion prospects. Ghar ki mugi daal brabar.

How do you know that you got 80 plus marks? How do you know that others get something which they did not wanted?
Anyway it is sad to know that you could not make it, but don't get depressed. Next time you may be selected. There are many other current and future opportunities.

The fact that only 341 candidates were selected signifies that there will be no waiting list. Many of the selected shall not Join.

I totally agree with your statement. I was just trying to raise concern for those who might still be thinking to the contrary.Decision once taken, can put you in quagmire if in the future it turns out to be something other than your expected goals. I know that people should consider them fortunate enough to be selected for government Job but it should not be given the luxury to cloud your capacity to think critically.

Maximum grade 18. Promotion to Grade 19 to be done through induction into IDC (Inter departmental cadre) which would affect your seniority as your seniority would not be counted from the day you become Gazzetted officer.

Your induction would be done in the CTP of the year you would be promoted in grade 19 and would be junior to all in that CTP of the year.

Currently the senior auditor associations for employees are working hard and have already submitted their plea for combined seniority which if assented to would open doors of further opportunities for promotes.

They are of the opinion that the day senior auditors are promoted to Grade 17 they should be inducted automatically to CTP of that year thereby bringing into the pool of CSP officers. Although its a distant dream but still making an effort would not do any harm.

I may reiterate that looking at the prevailing labour market situation,
getting a government job has become an achievement so celebrate you success to the fullest but do lend your ears and eyes to the surroundings.
