I don't know much about the nature of this job. As all of us are familiar with L.O in Provincial Labour department.The scope and mendate of L.O is vast as he has to deal many tasks ,so he has a good worth in social circles and has good P.R. A brother of one of my friends is a subedar in E.M.E. He told that it's a good job in it's nature . He abbreviated it as C.L.O. And further told that C.L.O has to manage matters of 2000 civilians in E.M.E. I asked him about accommodation and other perks and privileges. He said yes you will be provided. Further ,he told me" banda dil gurday wala ho tu badi zabardast job hay". But I didn't understand the meaning. Now, I am trying to contact another source ,who is a retired col. from E.M.E. I will try to take his opnion ( As C.L.O has to work under and directly report to C.O). But , my only concern about it's status is that isn't it a "Bloody C.L.O". If he's not then it is good to join.

It is requested to all especially those already serving as C.L.O to explain the working and scope of this job. Job duties given in advertisement was as given below
Job Duties:,

i) To advise the Comdt on all matters concerning/ connected with or affecting the health and conditions of service of civilian employees.*
ii) To keep an up-to-date indexing of all order and Instructions affecting civilian employees in any way.*
iii) To keep himself informed of the difficulties and problems of the civilian employees.*
iv) To comply with any duty assigned to him by the Comdt/AO of the unit, etc.
