I want a detailed reply from seniors on the issue that whether i join Police as P'ASI or stay with my present job as Computer Operator in District Judiciary.

which one is better.

ASI is better than computer operator, go for it

Aoa...Asi has no further future promotion prospects..V tough duty...on the other hand in your present job you may have better links with all the SHOs and other police officers un ur district...Judiciary is superior to police

you should be selective but if your selection is asi against your running job than it is not good because there's many problem in police job.

Bro, your current job is relax, calm and cool. You may not know what does 3rd degree torture of police means. In police you as well your family may have life threats, God forbids. Also there is no comparison of judiciary. So, it is better for you not to opt for ASI, rather your current job is far better. Highest pay scale is in Judiciary in Pakistan.

Don't go for ASI its a freaking 24 hrs job. U don't know when u ll be called on duty (after duty hours). Plus police sucks...
