Has anyone from lahore region received sms or letter? Interviews start in Lahore from 29 and yet no news of sms or letter.

All candidates who have mobile numbers ported (MNP) to other telecom services would not receive SMS. Moreover all candidates will receive postal letters at their present address. In case of change in present address you should intimate to FPSC.

@ Mr Sammar Elahi :

Is the book "Synopsis of taxes" in Pakistan key to performing well in the interview ? From where we can get acquaint with the terms such as 'Municipal tax', 'cantonment board taxes', and other terms such as 'local tax' which are not part of majority of books ? I have bachelors degree in 'Economics' but unfortunately I have forgotten even the basic terminologies of it.Therefore, can you please suggest me how to have a bird's eye view of Economics's concept at this eleventh hour as interviews are fast approaching

Sis, you should go through following book:
Cambridge university press book for economics by p. Collins

Synopsis of taxes is very thorough book of which you can not comprehend. So better update my notes. Do prepare all the questions that are shared on cssforum as well as your group irrespective of your background.

Should we expect questions from current affairs by the interviewing panel or not ? By 'Notes' you mean the relevant material you have shared on this thread or some other material you have ?

One of the cantonment tax is estate tax. For municipal taxes consult your provincial local govt Act.

anybody receive interview call letter/sms/email from lhr center. as interviews of lhr are planned from 29 july and still i am waiting for call from fpsc. members plz response

Brother I am from Lahore (Okara) and after the clearance of Screening I am also in wait but no sms or letter for interview is received to yet.

but in fpsc website lhr region interviews are planned from 29 july so what should one do as fpsc does not rply appropriately. I mailed fpsc in morn and they rply letters will dispatch befor 5-10 days
