(1) Being a Govt. Employee, why do I want to switch my job and department ?

(2) What's CREST ?

(3) How many wings does FBR keep ?

(4) What's mean by Active Tax Payer ?

Last question ( a technical problem ) of my current department was aked and that's it.
1. FBR is a high prestige department with double basic salary. It is matter of pride to become part of FBR. In Indian civil service IAS is the highest allocation is for IRS. World Bank & IMF give a high consideration to this cadre.

2. Computerised Risk based Evaluation.

3. FBR has two wings namely IRS & Pakistan Customs. Customs duty is a dying tax.

4. Active Tax payer is updated annually. It enlists all the active tax payers.

Under World Bank & IMF agreements with Pakistan there would be more of direct taxes like Income Tax & Capital Value Tax and less of indirect taxes such as sales tax, excise duty and customs duty would be decreased. The indirect taxes hit the packet of poor & Middle class. Just think of poorest rural dwellers who earn less than $ 2 per day, around 60% population of Pakistan consist of people below poverty line. When a common man purchases any commodity he has to pay 17% of sales tax despite being widow, orphan and disabled who are not required to even file a tax return. I have recently been offered partial scholarship related to accounting by UNICEF, this is how the world entities treat we IIRs.

CREST cross matches the supply chain of sales tax input and out taxes. There have been scam in which fabricated companies have been created and sales tax refunds have been withdrawn through input, output tax adjustments have been taken from the national kitty. CREST cross matches the supply chain through entire supply chain of invoice numbers. In sales tax if any entity defaults the entire supply chain is held responsible jointly and severely.

Anyone, I could not take the calls of around 7 persons as I was busy and have changed my mobile. So, I could not recongnise any one of you calling. However, 1 number that was saved who belonged from a nearby rural are. He asked me to meet him in person. I can understand your sentiments. For that 1 person I have realised that my knowledge could be spent to anyone and everyone. I want to give all you that I have. I will compromise my preparation of PCS for you helping you all. 2 females sisters from Punjab have contacted me and I will also ask females sisters to ask me anything on their brother's or father's number. I tell 1 more thing that you will have to bear the charges of call.

As far as I know, you are not moderator. Backseat Moderation is not allowed on this forum either. So, dear please focus on things that matter for you.
