currently i am working in Punjab Finance Dept. (selected through PPSC). My colleagues discourage me for joing inspector. they hv demotivated me and belevieve me that i have not started preparing for interview despite the fact it is on 20 september.
they say that inspector has no promotion line, no service structure etc. you will be retired as inspector.is it true that inspector has no promotion line

i have not received interview letter yet, contacted post office but no one received the letter.

Fpsc not receiving call, have dispatched letter to secretary FPSC and send e-mail as well.

Dear bro Sammar, FPSC has already posted a list of 17 recommended candidates on FPSC website yet there are many people whose interview is on next month or they are to still receive their interview sms and call. How is it possible?

AOA Everyone. I'd my interview on 13th September (WED) at Lahore Centre. It was a very short interview to my liking. It merely lasted for 7-10 minutes. Luckily or unluckily, the panel had only 2 members. I'm quite satisfied with my performance. Wishing the rest of the candidates a very best of luck. So, the questions that were asked are as follows;

Member No 1:

1. Please introduce yourself?
2. What are your job responsibilities and what does your company do?
3. Pakistan is going through so many internal & external challenges. What do you think are the biggest internal and external issues?
4. Your English communication is quite impressive being a B.comer. Have you been preparing for Competitive exams, etc?

Member No 2:

1. What are the heads of income? Can you name them?
2. What's Active Taxpayer List of the Board?
3. How would you differentiate between Direct & Indirect Tax?
