Yes, the FBR part was not satisfactory but the behaviour from the FBR personnel was exceptional which makes me a little hopeful

Candidate No 1

I had strange interview at FPSC head office ISLAMABAD. The interview lasted for 10-12 minutes . NO member asked anything about the taxes or concepts of taxation.They just focused on one subject from my final degree and that was E-COMMERCE.The questions were:
Q1:Name any five e-commerce websites.
Q2:Should the government encourage E-COMMERCE and if yes then what about the traditional shopkeepers who are not able to sell products electronically?
Q3:What are the negative points of using E-COMMERCE?
Q4:A company in Pakistan made an agreement with a company in UK to import 100 bales of cotton and later on refused to make such imports,the legal process against that Pakistani company initiated in the court of UK and the case was dismissed later on,what could be the possible reasons for such dismissal?
Q5:If an e-commerce company is operating in Pakistan and it commits a fraud in Pakistan,how and what action can be taken against that company?

When are the interviews going to end? When could we expect the result?

Another 2 months approximately for interviews and then another month to the result. We are expecting in December/January. Given the amount of work the commission has on its shoulders, it could be February or even March. Till then

This is from Income tax ordinance : filer means a taxpayer whose name appears in the active taxpayers‘ list issued by the Board from time to time or is holder of a taxpayer‘s card.

What is the different between non filer? how both of these individuals are handled differently by tax authorities?

So can we say that mere submitting of a return can't include a person in the active taxpayers' list and consequently he could still be referred as non filer?

Qualification: MBA (Marketing)
1st member: You studied from FJWU tell me about your university as he used to teach there in business administration department 1) VC name and her area of specialisation? 2) who is the Dean and her subject specialization? 3) you studied a subject women in development tell me about this subject and which book you studied for this course? 4) what is difference b/w strategic marketing and marketing? then he recommended me a book that i must study
2nd member: what should be the marketing strategy for FBR to enhance its tax base?
what is meant by filing of return?
3rd member: which strategy of marketing is used by beggars as they are not educated but they use it ?
Why export of china with India increasing during last years and which marketing and management strategy is being used by china?
and at the end 1st member asked me the name of book about which he told me at start and "I will give you 100/100 marks if you replied correctly, I never make such offer to anyone and you have one minute to recall name of that book"
Furthermore, environment was friendly, panel members were quite polite and overall it was a good experience
