FIA looks better, the department has more relevance. Career growth seems better for FIA. Chances of promotion are better in FIA.
There is more awe in FIA department and greater scope for PR.
If nothing FIA Inspector has a better looking uniform.

The other difference is that training procedure for FIA is more lengthy and rigorous than IR.

Congrats for remarkable success
I think Inspector FIA is better than IIR. There is a big problem of promotions in IIR in FBR. Call me I will guide you about IIR. Although, FIA is better but it is a high pressure job.

sir what is your cell number..i am also recommended for IIR.what is next procedure.what type of medical test we would have so that we may wellprepare for that.

And brother don't worry. Govt recruitment is as unreliable as any govt institution, a lot of luck factor and not to mention quota system. So, I would suggest that you don't let this minor setback get to you and keep trying.
