I think only essay will not be conducted, but complete English subjective test will be conducted.....i.e composition, grammar, direct indirect, translation, essay writing etc...

in 2012 , typing test was re-conducted before interview
last time there was an essay before interview
this time they are waiting for instructions from higher authorities,
may be an aptitude test or only an interview this time, 905 possibility hy k is dafa kuch new hoga

May be they re-conduct typing test this time also because greater number of candidates qualified btw in 2012 did NTS re conduct test ?

There was no batch in 2012. Never ever re-conducted typing test before interview.
