if they do further shortlisting on the basis of only cgpa, then this wil be completely unfair...because it wil be unrealistic to consider a cgpa of 3.5 obtained from a private university to be better than even 2.5 gpa of nust, uet lahor, or uet peshawar.

I think all universities should be considered equal.

i got a very good cgpa from a private university but i know that this gpa is a fake representation of my acedamic value.
Good public sector universities are creating quality while all most all private sector universites are floding the country with just " naam k engineers".

brother i think its not about universities.. banda khud parhey r uske concepts hn to private ho ya public it doesn't matter!!!

what about the test conducted on 10th march???

first let them hire for genuine positions of 11 months training...then they will think about the temporary 6 months GTP internship

I have received the letter for interview for the post of Asst Engineer Electrical. On 20th June, PC Lahore. I had 69 in test and my test was on 31st March. But I won't be going, I have cleared CSS 2012 alhamdulillah with 39th Position. Best of luck, all of you. God bless.

I got 74 in same field.. but no letter.. why :O

BRo ye interview list kaha show hwi hai?? i chckd islamabad list in which there is no one of ASST Engr Electrical..

Danish Malik says they're taking cgpa into account maybe that's why. Any you should keep your hopes high as the list on ogdcl is not final and also try contacting their head office. Good luck!:thumbup:
