The following job advertisement was published on 14th Nov 2012 (The News (English) page 3 bottom right corner) ...

I talked to In-charge Recruitment OGDCL ... He said

- Ignore the character certificate from local Councillor (Not required)

- These posts are different from the ones advertised before (Those are being discussed in [url]http://www.cssforum.com.pk/jobs-scholarships/jobs-announcements/69983-training-opportunities-ogdcl.html[/url])

- A person can apply for both

all documents attested chahe??? aur kya Application Handwritten honi hai ya type kar sakte hain?? anyOne confirm me plz

Mr.most honorable! whever documents are sent for job purpose.. they must be attested..[B] and yes handwritten application is required. Its clearly mentioned in Advertisement[/B].kindly read ad. carefully...

advertisement was published on 14 nov and 4 weeks time is given to apply so it means 1 month

Time given is 4 weeks ... 14 Nov was the date when the advertisement was published .. So deadline should be 12 Dec 2012 ...

I asked him specifically about character certificate ... His words were "Us ko choro, zarurat nahe hai"

Whenever you apply for a gov/semi-gov job ... Documents should ALWAYS be attested ... Private jobs may it does not matter as much

ap ne last add dekha tha..2 weeks pehle for trainee engineer in OGDCL...wahan pe unho ne clearly mention kya tha k attested copies send karni hain..but yahan nai likha..agar must hoti tou clearly mention hoti..mention karte hain tb e send kye jate hain..

Brother hamza ,Do you think ,hand written application is compulsary mean composed is not acceptabte? i don't think so.

this is just training program not a permanent job

I applied for the previously advertised post as well (That was for "Asst. Engineer" not "Trainee Engineer") .... feel free to send your docs unattested ... I was just expressing my thoughts

As far I can understand they have asked for "An application on a plain piece of paper" ... So I think printed ho ya Hand written farak nahe parhay ga ... as long as you provide the information they have asked for ...

My application will be a printed (composed) one .. limited to the info they have asked for and nothing else

Bro no 1 accept hand written application , U should type everything on A4 plain paper , dey never mentiond handwritten application scene :p

Pls tell me k es program ka total tenure ketna ha? As in the ad they have mentioned 6 moths in class training and on site etc.
plain page par application ka mtlb ha k ap simple aik CV bna lain jes ma ap ka tama bio data ho.

Brother can anyone tells the test city mention over the ad or they are conducting tests only at Islamabad.

Format can be vary from candidate to candidate ... I am going to use it .. It is nor compulsory .. You can use any format you desire

I think there is nothing mentioned in the Advertisements and all thing are behind the scene .we have to wait and c what they decide

application ka matlab hai cover letter jisme likha ho ke aapk kis job ke lie apply kar rahe hain aur advertiseemnt konsi date pe aai thi wagera aur details ke lie aap c.v bhej do
