Probably true but remember that SNGPL also require prior experience so the experienced candidates with low marks may be preferred over those with better marks but no experience. Sadly I also have no prior job experience. Hoping for the best though.

Dear aminshah101, sir although a mere thanks may not be much but I'd like to thank you for sharing useful insider info with us. Its fortunate to have someone among us with authentic info. Please bear with us and keep us informed. Also my score is 68 in Chemical Engineering but no experience, could you please share any pointers in how to ace the interview and to convince them to hire me. How should I prepare for interview (provided I'm selected for it of course). At this point my only concern is to land a job.

Default interview prep

As all the tests of SNGPL are conducted, friends who could score better marks should not waste their time and energies in anything else but the interview preparation. we should focus and converge all our focus on this very preparation.

regards

Well, I have doubts about it. HR seems to be in hurry but I believe the hiring process would take place in 3 months from now.

Last year minimum merit on NTS recruitment was 61 as far as in my knowledge. Domicile does'nt matters. Score is average so fair chance. But as you people are saying that general score is low, so in that case, you stand a better chance . I am sorry I cannot disclose number of seats on public forum. Hope you can understand my situation .

Aala . You will definitely be called. And if you manage to prove relevancy of your experience somehow, you will land up in Grade 3 .

No quota at all. Open merit.

Grade 2 . Bank main Grade 4 pe tha .

In October 2011, I have serious doubts if any interview was held coz interviews finished in the last week of September 2011. There are several recruitments in SNGPL other than NTS. So I have serious doubts if it is via NTS. Can be through an alternate channel.

I wish that your prayers come true. That's all I can say.

Dear Amin Shah

Can you kindly tell cut off for mechanical engineering as i have not seen anybody from this field who has posted his score in this thread.

dear brother if you think that above 70 is the criteria set for the interview then you are not aware of the test results because this time around the merit will drop down as compared to last time because I have been informed that at different test centres average marks attained by the candidates are less as compared to last time......so we should be optimisticwish all friends best of luck

Default Accounts

Dear friends... I think the initial screening criteria for accounts will be at least 63-65 marks because in my hall/lab where approximately 50 students appeared for test nearly 10 candidates able to get above 60 marks and highest was 78,72 etc.. I gave the test in Comsats lahore where 8 labs assigned for accounts test at that time so if you consider on average 10 candidates in one lab then you able to get 80 students approximately got 60 above marks... Now you can analyze other 8 or 6 cities where accounts test also conducted at the same time.. If you go with the same average then there is 650 candidates only in accounts who got above 60 marks.. That's why on these grounds we can conclude the criteria for accounts will be above 63 or 65 or maybe more to make interview call to less number of students...
Hope you understand it

i donot know anyone who crossed 60 marks in Electronics yet so test qualification marks should not be 60 for Electronics Engineers.
