Yaa, BS is 05.. Salary is equivalent to constable with 50000 anti terrorist allowance.

Corporals is BPS-5 military based rank and also when these vacancies are announced verbally it is stated that first recruitment i.e of 500 candidates will be called corporals instead of giving constable title.

More over visit page # 5 of this same thread and also search Wikipedia you will get corporals BPS

Yes Basic pay scale is 05, but pay is like that of Basic Pay Scale 20.

But the main point is, will we be treated the same way the Constables are treated as I have heard that Constables feel really inferior just due to their grade & the behaviors of their seniors towards them.

Shortlist will be from psychological test.Very tough criteria of
selection.
