Can someone elaborate what sort of questions are being asked in the interview ???

well it was just a 15 minute casual discussion along with few questions like monetary policy instruments, and they also asked about social activities etc.nothing to worry about..

In documents required for interview, they mentioned to two documents :
d: proof showing grade in bechelor's/master degree.
e: proof of having studied in bechelor's/master degree.
what does it means?? i have only transcript and degree of bechelor's and master qualification. plz guide me

take all original original documents like matric certificate,intermediate certificate and bachelor and master degree and transcripts as they all are your proof of qualification that make you eligible for the post

My Interview of NSO was in August but I could no appear due to Abroad in KSA. Last week I return, Is there any way that I can reappear in the interview. I am from Rawalpindi.

documents required:
a: copies of matric, intermediate, bechelor's, master degree and self domicile certificate.
b: copies of experiènce certificate
c: proof showing date of announcement of result of bechelor's degree duly signed and stamped by controller/deputy controller.
d: proof showing division/grade in bechelor's/master degree
e: proof of having studied in bechelor's/master degree.
f: attested copies of all documents with name stamp of attesting officer.
g: one/two recent passport size attested photographs
h: departamental permission on FPSC prescribed form duly signed by appointing authority showing clearly date of appointment and place of domicile.
i: equivalence certificate from HEC/PMDC/PEC, duly confirmed by departament where posts exist regarding you.
these all are required at the time of interview

one copy of all documents duly attested.
they have not mentioned to bring call letter.
u should also keep original documents with you at the time of interview.

dear they did not ask questions related to Pakistan history rather they asked me about history of my native city Kohat.Moreover they asked me questions related to Islamic banking as I am serving in an Islamic Bank.

No they did not.they only asked me about the difference b/w conventional and Islamic banking and the prospects of Islamic banking in pakistan

And how should I prepare ? Im currently doing CFA and I have done 2 stages of JAIBP. I have worked about 1 and half yrs in trade dep of a bank and then 2 yrs as Asst manager finance in pvt company.

They gonna ask me about my professional exp or theory related questions ?? or both

What actually are they looking for ?

if u have mentioned your job experience in form, they will probably ask you questions related to ur previous experienc

currently interviews are being conducted for the said post. next time if these posts are advertised you might be able to apply depending on eligibility criteria

Those guys/gals who appeared in lhr center pls confirm this. You are, probably, not sharing your interview exp due to fact that others will perform well. At least share those things which may deem unimportant :) or the one i asked earlier

ok thanks.may be the schedule was prepared before government decision to end IQBAL DAY HOLIDAY.That's why monday is still off in FPSC Schedule.

did they ask any question regarding your publication(research papers) in interview?

no they did not, i am purely hons student and do not have any publication at my credential.they will ask you questions related to your publication if you do have any.

Finance.yes they asked me only one question from finance that was about monetary policy control instruments,rest they asked about my current job and banking related questions.

Why they are asking questions regarding monetary policy or state bank ( even in test too much questions were asked about State bank and its Act 1956 ) when NSO has no or very little to do with State bank ?

There are only two places where NSS and State bank has some connection and both were ignored in the test and apparently in interviews.

Brother do you know any expected date of final result ?

NSO is a purely banking sector job my brother and moreover an with a job description of auditing and accounts so they expect us to know about financial regulatory authority .
