According to FPSC, Compilation of Screening Test Result.
The Secrecy Wing shall be responsible to compile the result of MCQs in case of BS-18 and BS-19 within one week as these are compiled on Optical Mark Reader Scanners and in case of BS-16 and BS-17, within three weeks of the date of holding the Screening Test. In case, it requires more OMRs, these may be procured to accelerate the process. Then why FPSC takes so much time??? |

What FPSC must do is declare the result of Screening Test as early as possible, this helps already depressed/dejected candidates to know if they have passed or should they continue struggling for something else. Pass or fail, it is my right to know the result within a reasonable time i.e. within three weeks (this time period is set by FPSC itself); FPSC stretches it far beyond the reasonable time. If FPSC does not have the staff or equipment, it should staff/equip itself adequately; we pay for the salaries of FPSC officials, so, they do not have to worry in this respect too, we'll pay for the salaries of new employees too or if machines are needed, we'll pay for that too. My suggestion to FPSC: double or triple the amount of fees for test, in my view, any poor person will hug starvation but pay for it but what the poor person cannot do without is being in the state of uncertainty for the whole year and a half regarding if he will ever be allotted the vacancy or not. With such a delay in the recruitment for Federal Board of Revenue, not only general public is suffering, but Government is losing millions of bucks too because of sheer shortage of manpower in FBR offices.

Mohammad Ali, NTS have the same technology and the number of test is conducted by NTS and FPSC is almost equal, in case of NTS they announce results within a week, where as FPSC takes a much longer period. One good thing about NTS is that they give you a copy of your answer sheet so that we can check and match our answers. Will FPSC follow the same procedure relating to answer sheet copies being provided to the students and answers being uploaded on the site or will this action question their credibility?

I have been a staunch critic of NTS, there is no greater hater of NTS than my own self, but I salute NTS for announcing results sooner than any testing agency of (perhaps) the world. NTS is very fast-paced. And with the recent disclosure of merit criteria by NTS after we, the public, and the court put pressure on NTS, NTS has become more transparent and people feel content with NTS' testing criteria. Another great thing NTS does is, as you mentioned, it hands you over the carbon copy thereafter you can, for your convenience, check your own result within just a few hours. A 21 gun saltue to NTS literally!

I have received offer letter for Inspector Cooperative Societies. They require to submit a bond that I will server the department for at least 4.5 years. On the other side i am also waiting for the result of Inspector Inland Revenue.
Now what should I do? If I accept the offer of Cooperative Department and my name is shown in successful candidate of Inland Revenue then I will miss a good chance. Seniors Please guide me... |
