Can any one on this forum let me know about the living expenses in South Korea of a scholar ??? n further out of hangyang and skku , which one is better in your view and why ??

KOC has sent me the admission letter.
I was called for interview which took place via skype.
IELTS 7.0

800$ is more than enough for living expenses.
Hanyang & SKKU both are prestigious and highly rank universities. I would evaluate them as equal.Choose one where lab & supervisor is of your choice.

I have an issue. I am unable to get my guarantor. Our family
background do not have such property worth millions.
I have tried to find guarantor in my vicinity and friends but no
one is going to be.

You are requested kindly forward request for a wave-off of this guarantee.
I can assure HEC that I will work in Pakistan for 5 years after PhD but
without any guarantor, reason being we are not much wealthy.

you have asked a good question, it will help a lot of students. Kindly share the repsponse that you get from HEC regarding guarantor issue.
Lets hope that your problem will be solved. But i think guarantor is mandatory and they will not allow you without guarantor. But nothing is impossible. hope for the best.

you should visit hec office Islamabad, they are very cooperative and i am sure something good will come out of this meeting.
