Attention: Cultural Exchange Scholars- Monthly Stipend pledged by IPC

Dear Cultural Exchange Scholars,

As you are aware that monthly stipend of IPC scholars has been withheld which is against the spirit of this scholarship scheme. We, being IPC Scholars in China, are facing extreme financial hardship. And this financial hardship is affecting our studies negatively as we can not focus on our studies and research. Alot of time is spent on routine budgeting and meeting our daily expenses and we can not maintain our lifestyles and represent our country properly. This situation is rather discouraging people pursuing higher education.

I propose all the students covered under this scholarship to raise this issue at appropriate platforms and suggest how we can collectively raise this issue for quick resolution .

Please advise if you have any suggestion.

This is indeed not good. Aren't the 1700¥ given by CSC not enough? Some members have given positive feedback and say its more than enough.
Anyway the thing is regardless of the adequacy of 1700¥, we still should be entitled to stipend by government of Pakistan. If IPC is not giving us anything then what difference will remain between us, how cleared the exam and those who applied directly.
In my invitation letter there is no mention of any funds from GOP so how do I ask if I'm entitled to anything because previous scholars were atleast asked to sign an noc and were told they'll get some funds subject to availability. We aren't even given that option???
