Default Provincial Police Service - KPK

Dear friends, almost all of you must be aware about the fact that last year in May 2015 provincial government has decided to recruit DSP's in BPS-17 like that of PMS Officers. It was said that a solid and healthy competitive examination will be held to bring up best talent in the police force.

Now my request to you seniors and other friends is that please share here any information with us regarding the finalization of the DSP posts in the province as many of grade-18 and above police officers of the province have withdrawn their intimations to induct in PSP cadre because the new proposed Provincial Police Service will give them rapid promotions and benefits.

Another problem I want to discuss with you is that maximum age for the proposed DSP posts would be 30 ( I think). So many many talented young and educated aspirants will exceed this age limit this year and many might have been already crossed this age limit. So I request you members that it is the time to put a joint effort and raise our voice so that maximum age for these posts be fixed as 35 years. I hope provincial government will consider our suggestion and request in the greater benefit of public.

Regards

Dear in September, 2015 the KP Police Department had advertised some posts through the KP PSC in Research and IT section. Still, no progress on those, i guess once the selection process of those posts is over then you can expect these DSPs posts. It might take a year or two

Thankyou for innetiating this post, the news of establishment of PPS came as a breeze of fresh air for all the CSS/PMS aspirants of kpk yet there hasn't been much progress about recruitments for this new service. I remember reading the articles that you posted and then expecting PPS posts sometime soon, but an year has passed and we aren't seeing anything. I asked one of my acquaintances a former PMS officer and a current IRS officer from 40th CTP about DSP posts. According to him the current IG KPK Mr.Nasir Durrani is very serious about inducting some DSPs obviously to fill the dearth of PSPs in KPK but things in our province happen very slowly, it took the government almost 3 years to declare result of last PMS, the current pms is expected since mid last year. I don't know when will the DSP posts be announced but this thing is for sure that an exam would be conducted for this purpose, so lets wait till then.

Dear daniyal... Being a Pakistani waiting is not a serious problem for us but as u told that it took 3 years to conclude a PMS process, just think how many deserving men and women would have crossed their upper age limit for such posts. So I am trying to arrange a meeting with CM KPK and Imran Khan to address this serious issue as our province is already facing slow recruitments and smaller number of vacancies.

That is indeed a great step, I too believe that all these matters be brought forward before Imran Khan and CM.

This is the real reason of delay in announcing DSP seats.

Actually PSP's has nothing to do with PPS now, as it has protection of constitution and separate service structure....
They are deciding number of posts, examination standard, rules regulations that's why posts are not still advertised.
