KPPSC has deleted the news about the expected announcement of the result of PMS from its website. Does it hint at something?
Maybe it hints at that the new date is coming for announcement :d

Bakr Thursday, July 18, 2019 06:07 PM
Result will be announced in a day or two. As compilation of result is mostly done.
P.S ~35% candidates have qualified written exams.
35% of what amount, any idea?

czarjamal Thursday, July 18, 2019 08:31 PM

Total candidates appeared are around 4000. Which means around 1400 have qualified.

Source is reliable. Rest we can wait for result for exact numbers

You seem confident about this source. Anyway best of luck to all (including me)

PMS is a competitive exam but it doesn't seem so in KPK. At first, they reduced the merit to 80 which is insanity and kidding with the competitive process. 3k-4k candidates were more than enough to be called for subjective test. calling more than 10k candidates for subjective part shows the non-serious attitude of kppsc towards PMS. Furthermore, now the news of passing around 1500 candidates is nerve breaking. what they really want to do? are they trying to accommodate their blue-eyed ones? it seems quite prolong process in case of interviewing 1500 candidates. Competitive exam should be competitive one. Mismanagement at peak in KPPSC.

imrankhandashing Friday, July 19, 2019 12:43 PM

Allowing such a large number of candidates to take the subjective exam may have added to a prolonged delay in the process which may be finished off in more than 2 and a half years. This is a competitive exam to demonstrate the incompetence on the part of the commission, not to measure the candidates' competence.

ADNAN MSD Friday, July 19, 2019 02:40 PM

Every one is kindly requested to not speculate rumors here , result might be in next week but no one knows in commission how many students have passed yet. so please be patient and pray for your good result.

Not 35% but only 353 candidates have qualified written part of the examination. Moreover, the delay is partly due to the late submission of papers by the relevant checkers and partly due to the compilation of DMCs of the failed candidates, about 4000 plus candidates.

It means the passing dudes will have 75% selection chances.....the Luckiest ones i suppose

But its still unsure whether 353 have passed or more, i guess passing number may exceed 1000.

When is the official announcement, any idea?

imrankhandashing Friday, July 19, 2019 08:53 PM

A tutor from KIPS told me that it would hopefully be announced the next week.

psas Friday, July 19, 2019 09:10 PM

Allah will bless only those who have worked hard and sincerely.

Kierkeegard Friday, July 19, 2019 10:23 PM

If its the hard work then it seems that you will top the list.

imrankhandashing Friday, July 19, 2019 10:37 PM

Everybody who is willing to sit in a competitive exam must be working hard. I think approach matters more than hard work. This is not to say that approach can be made smarter without working hard, however.

Exactly!
Everybody has worked hard but approach matters a lot in such exams. Last year, some of the aspirants even waited to get allocation in the waiting list but they were astonished when they saw their names in the lowest row despite they worked very hard, but their approach and perception Re success was very bad.

those who pass written exam can they ask for their marks or position before interview from commission office or they will be told after final interview result

imrankhandashing Friday, July 19, 2019 10:56 PM

And how you approach and answer a question is the trickiest as well as the riskiest part. Living in the midst of situations laden with conspiracy theories makes it quite a formidable task at hand.
those who pass written exam can they ask for their marks or position before interview from commission office or they will be told after final interview result
No dear, The initially passed candidates have to wait for the final result in order to get their score cards and allocation details.

I agree

imrankhandashing Friday, July 19, 2019 11:02 PM

The marks are not meant to be communicated in such a case for the better. You know it! :pp;)

Kierkeegard Friday, July 19, 2019 11:06 PM

But BTW result is confirm going to be announced in the next week. Moreover, its highly expected on the next wednesday, thursday or Friday. The tentative number of passed candidates are 1000, but the number may exceed.

psas Friday, July 19, 2019 11:52 PM

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. With hard work and effort, you can achieve anything.

As per speculations we now have 35% (1400), 353 or 1000 number of candidates in the magical list :thinking

I am told about 1000+, but the number is not exact as i said earlier. Do you believe 353 will pass for 127 slots?

Waseim Saturday, July 20, 2019 02:49 PM

If the number of passed candidates is 353, it will save a lot of trouble for lots of persons.

First for the candidates, result makers, interview takers and especially to rumour spreaders :D

imrankhandashing Saturday, July 20, 2019 07:18 PM

In the first place, the declaration of result is much more important than the number of candidates who have qualified in the written part. If a higher proportion of candidates have really qualified, it might prove as a vital source of confidence in future especially for first-timers.

ADNAN MSD Sunday, July 21, 2019 01:38 AM

feeling butterflies in stomach with each passing day :sick:laughing

imrankhandashing Sunday, July 21, 2019 01:49 AM

It is giving a big thrill to wait for the result in the midst of uncertainty, but it is becoming unbearable with each passing day given such a prolonged delay.

imrankhandashing Sunday, July 21, 2019 01:56 AM

Having butterflies in one's stomach is bearable, but not the extra days of a result which was meant to be declared within eight months.

Bakr Sunday, July 21, 2019 04:02 PM

What I suppose is that there were approximately 700 students from last time who could not get allocation, considering them in this year’s list too, and considering at least same number of new qualifiers this time, 1000+ sounds quite likely.

A member of a Facebook group named Bathoor Khan has posted the following post regarding the PMS result. Lets hope it to be authentic and bring good news for all of us.

"Expect it today Insha Allah. You all know what I mean.

Good luck."

Best of luck everyone..

imrankhandashing Monday, July 22, 2019 02:41 PM

At the moment, there is a glitch being experienced while accessing the commission's website. Can something be expected soon?
