i checked over 400 roll numbers. majority were in 50s and 60s . i think cut off would be 65 or so for zone 1 and other zones.

"N IS BEST " dear i am on 3rd in merit in my zone 5, well the guy ahead of me have 68 and 65 respectively and i have 63. my zone has 3 seats, and a couple of guys are following me with 62 , 61 and 60. how will be merit made now. are degrees marks considered in the selection process ( i have 1st div throughout). kindly shed some light on the further selection process.

you are in.

as a matter of fact, kppsc calls 10 candidates on merit seat and 5 on regional quota. if your zone has 3 seats, kppsc will call 15 on it. Now, there are 6 merit seats, it means 60 candidates will be called on merit, and rest on quota. you need to be in top 65

We are eight here in discussion. There are 1600+ candidates who appeared in test, and most of us have already checked upto 200+ candidates result. So my suggestion is that why not divided the roll number of candidates amongst all of us, arrange it and past it over here so it will be easy for all of us who is placed where? and what would be the probable cut of marks.
I will be posting from roll number 1400 onwards.
