dear N is best what if iam in top 60 and included in merit but i did not perform well in interview and not selected on merit due to any reason, so then will i be cosidered for zonal quota ? And do kppsc calculate degree and divisons in overall merit making, kindly give details how merit is calculated?

extra qualification has some marks 1-2. if you could not manage to be in merit than you will be transferred to quota. Overall Toppers are inducted on merit. Rest in the line on quota seats.

@N is Best: Do you know how the merit is determined? Does interview carry marks, if yes how much. What is the weightage of test score, any idea?

test score has some weightage. if you have in 60s , mine in 70s, than only 1 mark is extra awarded. Selection or rejection 100 pc depend on interview.

30 Marks for Academic Record. 10 Marks for those with distinction. (03 marks for Hafiz ul Quran, 02 marks for additional relevant qualification, 03 marks for higher relevant qualification. Academic scoring in respect of professional posts shall be based on the last three or four professional examinations, as the case may be, on the basis of percentage to 30 marks reserved for academic record and not on division wise basis. For example, if a candidate obtains 2150 marks out of 3650 marks out of a total three or four professional examination his credit will come to 17.67 marks out of 30. So in such cases, the candidate will be entitled to 18 marks.

when will be interview? Any expected date or time? And apart from this one important thing, what is the job description and nature of this position? What this job is about, kindly if any one have detailed info share it, do we have to wear police uniform, what will be the future of this job and service structure like promotion , parent organization under which we work etc etc

An amendment has been done in police order 2002. After induction you will become the part of police force. No uniform but lot of authority is associated with it. By this i mean to say that this wing will work on police reforms. Also, it will publish periodicals for improvement which will be communicated directly to the CM. In words of an inspector, 'ye police k oopar police hy'.. Moreover,it will act as a CID as well. Post analysis reports are to be prepared by it.

my result is shocking bcz i was expecting 78-85 but i have 58 zone 2.
