KPK Public Service Commission has announced TWENTY ONE (21) POSTS OF OFFICE ASSISTANT IN establishment Deptt. Last Date for Submission of doc is 08 Nov 2013. Can someone dear member can guide me regarding ist salary package and Syllabus in particular.

Basic Pay Scale = 14
Starting basic pay = 8000 (Annual increment = 610)
plus House rent = 45% of 4920
Conveyance allowance =2000
Medical allowance =1000
plus few adhoc allowance
Total pay might be around 16,000 to 17,000.

You can get syllabus from KPK PSC office.

Posts of Office Assistants are present in almost every advertisement of KPK PSC. Tests are conducted in Peshawar ( mcqs based test ).
Posting is usually in Peshawar Secretariat.

Syllabus for the post of Office Assistant

Total 100 MCQs. Sometime negative marking is ther and its is written on roll number slip. Syllabus is always mentioned on the roll number slip and is usually contain for the post of office assistant
English(grammar/vocabulary) 25 marks
Pak Studies 25 marks
Eceryday Science 25 marks
Islamiat 25 marks

sometime there is only MCQs of English, Pak studies and Islamic Studies and not of everyday science. It depends upon department. For establishment department, mcqs of everyday science are there.

FATA comes in zone 1, so definitely they are eligible.
