Anybody with GOOGLE EARTH STREET VIEW details?

Hi fellows. I have been using Google Earth since been it is there. I want to know about the street view imaging technology that what the heck is this? I mean its great, awesome, fantabolus, mind blowing.

Can I anybody tell me how can we ask GOOGLE ORG. to have some street views in Lahore, like in CA (visit here) and (here)?

How to ask them? If it was just a matter of posting pictures on maps, I hope I could do well

Google street view is currently available for countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, New Zealand and Japan only.

This works with the help of mounted cameras on cars which roam about in the cities. I'm not really sure if google has any plans to start this service for Pakistan. However, recently it has started for Singapore and Taiwan

As far as Google Maps is concerned (the detailed street map)
That too is unfortunately not available for Pakistan as for yet

I don't know if we can expect Google to send some camera mounted cars to our part of the world
