Install urdu in your PC

کمپیوٹر میں اردو انسٹال کرنے کا طریقہ

Now you can write URDU in all software installed in your PC, even in MS Office and Excel. No need to use ‘Inpage’ etc.

Follow these simple (really ) steps and install the Urdu in your PC.

1. Click Start → Control panel → Regional and Language options → Language → Supplement language support and check the first box √

2. Windows will ask for your system CD……….install the XP/2000 CD and than re-start your PC.

3. If you don’t have Urdu fonts in your PC, download them from any site, which provided free downloading of the Urdu fonts.

4. Downloaded fonts may be copied and paste in fonts folders in control panel.

5. Now open this link http://www.crulp.org/software/locali...tickbv1.1.html and download phonetic keyboard.

6. After downloading, install the software as normally installed by just clicking the ‘exe’ file.

7. Now again Click Start → Control panel → Regional and Language options → Language → detail → Add... another window will open….in the input language heading click drag and drop arrow and select Urdu.

8. After selecting Urdu……click keyboard layout and press phonetic and then press OK.

9. Now enjoy URDU in each and every software installed in your pc.

Thank you for this useful trick.

I have successfully installed it in windows xp.

But the problem is occurring with windows 7...how to install it in that windows?

i cannot find Supplement language support.

please guide me?
