will you kindly specify the names of the plays included in your syllabus , so that someone may answer your question. I myself can specify some important topics if you tell me the names of the plays.
regards

Pride and Prejudice

Jane Austen's Moral Vision
Love and Marriage Theme
Title
Art of Characterization
Irony
A Novel With Limited Range

Oedipus Rex

Catharsis
Character is Destiny
Hamartia
Role of Chorus
Tragic Irony

We can tell important topics only. Questions are designed in different manners so prepare yourself for any type of question to be asked on these topics. For example:

1. Jane Austen’s clear sighted eyes read through the inner minds of those who live around her, just as if those minds were transparent. Comment on her art of characterization.

2. Jane Austen’s clear-sighted eyes read through the inner minds of those who live around her or those whom she invents, just as if those minds were transparent. Discuss her characterization in Pride and Prejudice in the light of this remark.

Both of these questions are related to Jane Austen's Art of Characterization but asked differently and should be attempted accordingly. So focus on important topics, not repeated questions. They are seldom repeated.

Dr. Faustus;
1)Magic vs science (theme of necromancy)
2)the theme of the divided self (good vs badself, god Vs devil)
3) dr.faustus as a christian tragedy
4) role of fate or chance?
5) seven deadly sins

a few examples of question statements;
1)How does the theme of necromancy instigate the action of "Dr. Faustus"?
2)Debate whether "Dr. Faustus" is a Christian tragedy, citing examples from the text to support your conclusion.

You didn't mention you university, well these dramas are in PU syllabus for private candidates. Prepare these topics, you can find them in NKM, famous books or on internet. Don't go for Repeated questions as miss Last Island said. If you know the topic you can make beginning, ending and arrange material according to requirement of the question.

Well, NKM stands for New Kitab Mahal. Their books on masters in English are good. You can also consult books by famous publishers. These are good too. Regards
