Sargodha university; Ma English in literature or linguistics?

Assalam o alikum Everyone.

I wanted to know if the degree of ma English by sargodha university is in literature or linguistics? I can see linguistics as an optional subject in the given syllabus though it does not include TEFL. Will a student be able to get admission in M phil linguistics after having this degree? Please guide.

I am new here and if my ignorance bothers any of you kindly ignore. I have done my masters in English from Comsats so don't have any idea about sargodha university.

I have passed MA IR private exams from UoS ,and I do not think UoS offers MA English and MA Literature to private candidates.

I have my Masters in English Language and Literature from this university as a regular student. My class fellows have done Mphill linguistics. This shows , they are eligible for doing M. Phill Linguistics. Besides this, I am serving in Sargodha. If some further information is required, it can be got from the university.

Thanks; one of my student has applied there. She is waiting for the next update. I was just worried if she's gonna read linguistics or literature..or maybe both of them.
