Waalaikum Salam Sister ..
The following are the answers to your questions .. 1- Its not that difficult .. 2-I'm not sure about this one, but there are private colleges who offer laws programs .. And it is suggested that you join one of those, because legal language is a hurdle for private candidates .. And there are statutes which are not easy to understand for a private candidate studying at his/her own .. However, If you seek help from any teaching institution, I can say that this course will not be difficult at all for you, keeping in mind your educational background .. 3- Sure .. Even if you join evening classes for law you can manage all other activities .. But it doesn't mean that it will all be too easy for you .. Law has depth and needs to be understood properly, you must devote a specific time for it daily .. And if you manage it properly, it will emerge to you as an interesting field of study as well .. 4- 3 Years .. 5- I'm not sure about this one, as I'm doing a foreign degree in Law .. But I have heard that Punjab University Law Program consists of 6 subjects per year .. 6- You just need to have common sense to start the law degree .. No basic knowledge about this particular field of study is required .. And your M.A English background will help you picking up language / interpretation issues quickly InshaAllah .. 7- Books will be recommended by the college you will enroll in .. 8- Again, it will be done by the college you join .. I'm not sure, but I think one cannot do law privately .. Views of other members will help you with the questions I'm confused about .. Overall its an excellent field of study .. I left Medical College before I started doing law and now I have no regrets .. I'm loving this degree and the broader scope it has .. Best of luck with your quest & plans .. Regards ..

I am planning to do L.LB but unfortunately i know nothing about it. Although i am M.A enlish and i want to do it as an additional degree. Please help me by answering my followiny quiries 1. Is it easy to do? yes. 2. Can i do it privately? Find a private college which charges lowest fee 10 or 15 thousand per year not more than this if they dont agree, bargain; bring them to 5000. there are 20 law colleges in Lahore. tell them that you will pay the fee package decided and wont pay anything else like this fee and that fee. you understand what i mean. get it in writing. tell them that you will come to college for thrice a year, for exam form, for fee submission, and for role number slip. 3. Can i carry it along with my m.phil / teaching job? yes easily 4. What 's its duration? 3 years 5. the complete course and paper pattern annual exams. there are 6 subjects in first and 7 in 2nd and 3rd year. purchase Khurram Amir Qureshi guides. there are roughly 20 questions of each subject and you need to prepare only 12 most repeated. each question has 15 to 20 Headlines. Austin Salmond, Dicey, Kelson in sb ke names yaad kr lo Question jo bhi ho in ka hawala zaroor dena and in definition Cite Blacks Law Dictionary Reference. Model Questions: 1- What is law? 2- What is Legislation? Model Answer: Introduction definition --according to Austin: this and that etc. According to Salmond meaning explanation kinds Types Classifications basis importance scope object characteristics differences Conclusion. and you are Wakeel 6. I never had such subjects like history.political science etc so what basic knowledge one have? no problem 7. Any recommendation of books read if you want to enrich your knowledge but do not worry about papers. English Jurisprudence by Mahajan, Islamic jurisprudence by Niazi and JA Raheem. PPC with commentary, any book about contract law and Torts. Dicey and Costituion of USA and UK. and remember do not apply this knowledge in your papers you may fail. For papers just follow Khurram Quershi pattern 8. The procedure to send admission The college you are getting admission will do every thing just keep in touch with the staff and remember I know i have a lot questions but if any one could answer one or two it would be a greate help. Thanking you all in anticipation for further keep in touch here.
