I have cleared test for MBA banking and finance from Szabist,Karachi campus.

My interview is scheduled. I want to ask all respected members , especially alumni of szabist, the reputation of szabist mba degree in the job market?

How is the teaching quality at szabist? Any guideline for me? I have heard that Szabist brand value is diluted now than before when it was considered a top class teaching institution. Can You also comment on that?

Your help will be much appreciated.

I have to take a decision , either to join Szabist MBA or pursue some other masters degree.

Please advise.

Thank You.

Please reply to my query.

Default Yes..It is worth it.

Dear Jetpack2

Congratulations for clearing the test of SZABIST and now you have to decide whether to consider SZABIST MBA as a career choice.
Any decision that is taken depends upon the choices available. As you have applied for MBA Banking and Finance it means that a career in Banking and Finance is in your mind. So the best chance to have a career in Banking and Finance is to go for MBA.

In the market SZABIST MBAs are well received and they are considered to be confident, dynamic and creative. The brand quality of SZABIST is not diluted as the SZABIST students are readily picked up by top organizations and sometimes even by corporate executives themselves who come to teach them at SZABIST ( as most of the faculty for MBA programs especially for electives come from the corporate sector). The interaction is instrumental in getting students well placed in job market.

SZABIST is considered the best Business school in Karachi along with IBA so if you get a chance to get admission at SZABIST MBA program go for it.
